Lost Half

  This is my final animation for this semester. My character Ellise wakes up to find her other half not with her. She panics and her eyes go empty. 

   Did she leave me? Where did she go? Is she going to be there?

   Thoughts crowd up her mind and she goes running out to find her. 

   The rooftop.    Ellise runs to the rooftop of a familiar building and finds her there. Lucienne just sat alone watching the city from above. Ellise went over and watched with her. They sat together in silence and watched as the sun went up.

Dear future self,

            I hope you're doing well and taking care of yourself. I wonder if you have thought of a job for yourself and if you're still enjoying art. Is the pandemic over yet? Are there any flying cars? Haha....I hope you've started doing commissions to support mom and dad...Remember, you have to struggle and go through obstacles to be happy in the end. A Buddhist master once said, "You must brave the storm before you are able to see the rainbow." If you're going through a difficult time, just know it will soon be over. Be nice to others and treat them the way you want to be treated...I love you and I hope you're happy and healthy.
