oh hell yeah I love this one 1. My own book, Face of a Dead Sun. Sorry, have to do this, everyone knew I would do this. 2. The Spear Cuts Through Water by Simon Jimenez. Picked this one up just because it was cheap and had cigarettes in a fantasy setting, I was completely surprised by how much I loved it at the end. 3. The Last Wish by Andrzej Sapkowski. I really love the Witcher short stories. Currently re-reading all the books as means to spend my off-time with anything else but staring-at-phone when I'm at uni and I kinda fell in love all over again with them. 4. Tunguska by Michael Hampe. Had this one rec'd to me by a professor. Not done with it fully but I'm a lot into Mitwelt-Konzepte and Human-Nature-Relations rn. Might be German only?? Idk. 5. Roadside Picnic by Arkady and Boris Strugatski. Lowkey honorary mention, it's my fav book ever and I'm a big Stalker fan actually, which I never talk about.

This is half an interest check, half a something that might come, but I've been daydreaming about making patches for years now. If I properly get my butt up and clean these I'd really love to sell some. Patches are my favourite merch ever, I got a whole hoard of them here.

As is tradition to write about here, I had my first swim of the year today <3 The water was amazing, I slipped on a log and fell right in. This is the third year now that I'm able to swim again and it's great. Also saw three grey herons and a flock of greylag geese, and listened to a wood pigeon while swimming.

dude I'm so excited about that line style, the only thing I still need to figure out is how to get more black in there, it's so liiiight. I never liked being a one-trick-pony, and even when drawing the FoaDS pages I often did these grouped lines but they never looked good there in mass. it's so awesome now.

actually writing this one on the main because it cracks me up still - my brother and I saw Alcest in Nov last year and a week before the concert he visited our cousin and they chatted a bit about stuff. my brother says he and I are going to see Alcest soon and my cousin asks what kinda genre that is. my brother: "it's something like black metal-ish with shoegaze" my cousin: "is it with like, homosexuals?" shoe gays. he understood shoe gays.

Heya! Feeling lucky that you got the book!! I'm always happy to know they go into the hands of people who appreciate the work. It's still bonkers to me how many years I worked on this, and it still has not properly set in lol. I think it will forever be part of me, but the "oh wait yeah it's done. I actually did this" feeling comes up in my brain very often.
