Hello everyone! Been a long time! I went to the Gaucho Grill in Downey, CA for the first time, after hearing good things about it. I went with a friend and a family member. We ordered a parrillada, which means barbecue. It's a plate with different kinds of meat. The meats were: a skirt steak, short ribs, filet mignon, lamb chops, Argentinian chorizo and sweetbreads. It accompanied with two side dishes, mushrooms and fries (forgot to take picture 😑). Of course there is a list of side orders you can choose from. I love their food truck, so when I found out they had a brick and motor, I had to come. Kogi made fusion food popular in street culture. In a city that is populated by Mexicans and Koreans, this mixture is perfect. Their short rib tacos and burritos are amazing. They are well cooked with a bit of grease only. It's a bit sweet and not too salty. Late post. Yesterday I was craving for some ice cream. While I was walking in @victoriagardens I came across a @nestletollhouse and decided to try their ice cream sandwiches. Two Nestle chocolate chip cookies with chocolate chip mint ice cream. Today I tried the new Triple Cheese Bacon Curly fries. Imagine their best fries with cheese and bacon? So I had to try it. I also tried a Meat lovers breakfast burrito. The curly fries with cheese was pretty good. I thought there wasn't going to be enough cheese, but I was surprised it had enough. The burrito was not the best, I like trying burritos from fast food places because they use different sauces. Today I Tried some Argentinian Empanadas from the restaurant Grand Casino Bakery & Cafe, located in Culver City, CA. I tried one Ham & Cheese and two with meat. It was decent, they were not the best I've tried. There wasn't enough cheese in the Ham & cheese and there wasn't enough meat. I finally tried Canes! Now, each time I passed by canes, it would always be crowded, like if it was the In N Out of chicken or something lol So today I decided to try it. I was not disappointed at all. The chicken tenders were good, the toasted bread with butter was delicious, even better with a chicken on top and their sauce combing it with their chicken is a perfect combination as well. Their fries were not unique, but theor chicken is the star of the plate, so I didn't mind the fries. I tried the new Ultra Caramel frap and Chocolate Chip peppermint frap. I'm a fan of the Caramel Mocha, so I had to try this one. It was delicious. It wasn't too sweet, it was perfect for my taste. The Chocolate Chip peppermint was okay. I went to Carl's Jr. And ordered the new pastrami burger. They have a 1/2 pounder or a third pounder. I had the third pounder, which was OK to be honest. The pastrami wasn't salty, I expected it to be salty, but I was suprised that it wasn't. The meat was juicy though. It also had mustard, which of course it had to have, to go with the pastrami.
