This is literally one of the things I'm worried abt the most when I think of Palestine, Sudan, or Congo; their hygiene. Especially for their girls and women :((
It’s feels so insignificant to have this struggle but I’m getting my period soon and there’s no place to buy cotton/pads or the specific painkillers I get and it’s so so cold my pre cramps are already killing me. It makes me feel so helpless. [@/ Dicktator117 on X. 12/28/23.]
“Periods Don't Stop for Conflict” I remember this headline addressing women's health in Ukraine. Not a peep out of those same agencies about Sudanese & Palestinian women struggling in war/conflict zones.

I created a link for a gofundme happening right now to ensure Period Care reaches folks who need it in Sudan, and I will re-post this here for folks who can share and/or support:
This link here will lead you to this post of where you can support/send funds so that period care reaches those who need it in [Palestine] and other areas as well.

I agree with anon. Everytime I see claims of Neymar being lazy or unserious, most of the time it comes from either "journalists" or fans, or sometimes, club boards/management; 𝗻𝗼𝘁 his coaches, not his teammates, nor the staffs or medical practitioners of his teams (y'know, people who 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 work with him in footballing aspects).
He has played in 3 different continents and 4 different countries, with 5 different teams. (Okay, maybe we don't count Saudi yet, since he just moved there) That's still numerous people of different backgrounds, a lot of different cultures, customs, and perspectives. Some of his coaches may complain about his family issues, or how he "influences the dressing room", but rarely anyone mentioned his lack of football related passion or professionalism. Heck, Thomas Tuchel is quite known for being strict and he ADORES Neymar.
I think it's worth noting that, one of the most severely underrated trait of Neymar is his ability to bounce back from injuries. And that's not something you can do without some mad dedication and work ethics.
Also, I don't like people who don't watch him at PSG talking like they know shit 🙃 (sometimes these people may also say that Neymar plays at LW in 2023 🙃). Shut up. He improves his games at PSG and those improvements aren't always things seen on stats.
No offense but why do people keep saying Neymar’s off the field lifestyle like it’s not something the press invented. If it was off that then psg fans should know Dembele’s lifestyle is worse than neymar at least he never came late to training. I hate that I even have to defend Neymar right but all these off the field BS is all made up by the British press! Jack grealish and other Players in the EPL have a wild lifestyle (I know this for a fact because I see them almost every weekend in Bagatelle, London) yet they are treated like media darlings because they are not South American or what. It’s like saying Lewis off the grid lifestyle is unprofessional. Please to be an elite athlete is NOT easy at all if Neymar wasn’t professional he wouldn’t have gotten this far…all time top scorer and top assist for Brazil national team is NOT a joke and I feel a lot of people are being unnecessarily disrespectful to him off projections no one even knows if it’s true or not and it’s so unfair. US athletes party a lot…even openly and are not criticized half of how Neymar is even with no evidence but off what a reporter says about him or what he posts with his friends.
I don’t know if this is aimed and me, but if it is:
1. I don’t read English tabloids (anymore). And when I did it was only the celeb things. No sports.
2. Lewis DID receive a lot of slack for his off track life style yeaaaars ago. Too busy with music, fashion, models, social media even. You name it and he heard, but the difference is he kept performing and at the highest level. So for me the comparison between these two is just not it. Even now in a team that’s way less he still gives it 110% to get them back to the top.
I think with Neymar is clear he is more free when it comes to his off field life. He enjoys his parties, poker tournaments and chilling with friends; the thing is his performance has not been on that Barca level in my eyes. He showed flares of it during matches, but not consistent like he did in his final 1.5 with barca. Besides: Ligue 1 ain’t no La Liga. With the Neymar I’ve seen and followed very closely at barca I expected way more than to end his club career at 31 with 1 CL.
He has accomplished a lot. Like you also said and I agreed: I just know it could have been much more and I think - and feel - very sad it ends like this for him.

🚨 Neymar is back in Paris and has removed his immobilisation boot! The last tests are good and the Brazilian will continue his rehabilitation protocol.🇧🇷
I'm so happy to see him back again. That scar is on his ankle is gnarly as fuck tho.
