i work a state job and about 2 years ago we were offered free virtual therapy through a big hospital that’s in our state and i was finally able to get an (inattentive) adhd diagnosis. but it’s been a fight since then to get on meds 😭 i understand the initial hesitation people have when i tell them i received my dx from an online therapist but it’s like they just outright refuse to believe me. i‘ve gone to 3 different psychiatrists who either refused to give me meds or put me on non stimulants (which gave me the worst side effects i’ve ever experienced) so i have an appointment with my primary today hoping that she’ll hear me out 😭😭😭 fingers crossed because i genuinely don’t know what to do anymore

Congrats and I hope it went well!!!! Listen do what you gotta do at this point, whatever gets you to the right endpoint

i understand the appeal of publishing "fic with the serial numbers filed off" as original work but i also feel like. what makes something a good fic is at odds with what makes something a good original story.
