༉‧₊˚.Due to the chemistry between them, and the fact that she balled for a bit, she was involved on the Paige & Azzi show (her name was in the title but yk)

༉‧₊˚.During that conversation on 'Who's more competitive?' really showed that dynamic of the one friend of the trio looking back and forth between the other two arguing.

༉‧₊˚.Bunny stayed silent the ENTIRE time just smirking.

•༉‧₊˚.After they finished "Y'all see how they competing on who's more competitive? That should tell you enough."

༉‧₊˚.It's actually kinda rare for ALL of them to be bickering at the same time. Usually one is either sitting back and watching or straight up fucking instigating.

"See now personally-" 'Paige, shut the fuck up if you value your life."

༉‧₊˚.They literally had a whole 20 minute argument on live over miscommunication that had happened earlier that day.

“Speaking of, chat I gotta story to tell.”

“Here we go.” Azzi quickly rolls her eyes

“Hush, you lost your speaking privileges, anyways, chat. You guys know who cinnamoroll is right? the sanrio character? Cool, so-“

“It was an accident-“ paige, who’s standing on the other side of the dancer, speaks up, trying to defend —mainly her own — actions.

“I’m about to acci-dent my foot up your ass, shut up.”

“So, we were at the mall earlier, and they had a build a bear store, and I’ve really been wanting the cinnamoroll that just released so I had asked peanut to go and get it for me while we split up and she said cool.”

Azzi and Paige are chucking in the background, Paige has a hand over her face and slides it down to cover her mouth, while Azzi crosses her arms.

“I get what I need to get and Izzi and I meet up again, she said she was gonna go to Victoria’s Secret so I asked her if she could get me some new bras.”

“Oh don’t bring me into this.”

“YOU are apart of this massacre.”

“Massacre?”

“Massacre of disbelief, deception and diabolical behavior. ANYWAYS, she says sure and then goes into said store. I sit down on the little waiting bench outside of build - a - bear and then peanut walks out-” pausing the story, she quickly leans off camera to the side before seemingly grabbing something before coming back into frame, one arm out of frame. The Duo of this so called ‘massacre’ sits down on the couch of the younger girls apartment, waiting to see what dramatics she has to offer.

"she walks out, aaand she hands me," bringing the subject into frame, plopping it down "this thing-" "it's name is toffee." the blonds voice quickly cuts through, sass evident.

"Right, anyways, she brings out ToFfE or whoever the fuck and I ask her what the fuck this is. She,” pointing back at Paige who’s taken this time to deadpan at the camera “goes, ‘it’s the plush you wanted? cinnamonroll or whatever, the rabbit.’” she mocks doing a very bad impression of Paige’s voice that said girl doesn’t even have time to comment on before the younger girl starts again.

“Now first of all,” she quickly truns around, almost breaking her neck to address the blonde guard “cinnaMO roll is a damn DOG-“ “he looks like a bunny-“ “and he’s WHITE.” “I’m colorblind.” Azzi chimes in “You can still see white if you’re colorblind you idiot.”

Bunny quickly cuts her eyes at Paige who smirks at her in response, amusement swirling in them at her weak defense. Thought she isn’t too surprised though, they’ve been friends for years.

“As i’m sitting there, flabbergasted, Izzi comes out of the store and hands me a bag, now,” she then proceeds to grab the bag that Azzi had handed to her earlier that day. Said girl perking up a bit from her previous position — being slouched on the couch, arms crossed — now sitting up waiting to see what the other girl has to say.

“I’m thinking the day is saved, that at least i’ll have one of the two of them satisfy me,” a snicker from Azzi is heard in the back as she mumbles “you make me sound like a superhero.”

“You usually are, until I look into the bag and pull out the bras, and guess what," she takes this time to lean forward "she got the wrong size."

"Well I'm sorry I don't know what size your freakin tits are." "Oh but you be the main one staring at em'?" raising an eyebrow at the guard who proceeds to freeze at her friends bold statement, jaw dropped, trying to choke out her response while the blonde next to her crashes down onto the couch—laughing up a storm. Even infront of 1.2 thousand people, the dancer is shameless.

“Right, so like I said.” turning back to the chat who’s going absolutely bat shit crazy

“The worst thing is I showed Peanut a fuckin PICTURE of the stuffy before we got to the mall.”

Paige sits up, still slightly chuckling “Bro my BAD, I got short term memory…” she trails off, scratching at her scalp and looking off to the side.

The dancer squints her eyes at her through the camera, tight lipped and nodding her head slightly. “Yeah, like how i’m about to give you a short-term ass whoopin’. ” before any of them could blink, the fuming girl turns around and bolts at the athlete on the couch.

Azzi moves out of the way and quickly runs to grab the phone, the live is booming, comment glowing past faster than she could read.

Luckily, that’s not what she’s trying to do at the moment.

“Alright! thats enough for the life see you guys.” speaking as quickly as she can to end the live before having to tear her chihuahua of a friend off her teammate.

She struggles a bit to end the live, before she finally hits the button though, there’s some shouting heard between the two scuffling on the couch.

“the people were right, you sanrio girls are EVIL.”

“YA DAMN SKIPPY!”

༉‧₊˚. Matching headbands (this was paige), matching bracelets (paige), matching shoes (paige once again), matching rings (okay, this one was you) matching outfits (okay, this one is paige, but you actually put together the clothes while she just gives the idea)

༉‧₊˚. You guys have matching shoes that you yourself hand painted and designed. The Shoe laces have y’all’s name on it and there’s charms hanging from it (they cherish these fucking shoes)

༉‧₊˚. You guys even having matching charm bracelets that Azzi made for y’all when you were younger. It’s one of those string ones where your names are spelled out in blocks. You guys have them on your backpacks.

༉‧₊˚. They also have other character keychains on their backpacks that you won them at an arcade you guys went to with your parents one year after becoming close. (They bring them everywhere)

༉‧₊˚. Even if you guys are somehow without the other, guarantee you’re still around them.

༉‧₊˚. Since you’re not on the same team, while your sports do overlap, they don’t always do that. They have their backpacks and gym/basketball bags decked out because of you and they make sure to have the charm bracelet locked onto them at all times.

༉‧₊˚. Said charm bracelets are ones you made them FOR those bags, you add more charms onto them as you see fit. It’s just one of you many ways of letting them know that you’re thinking of them, and they’re reminded everytime they see their bags.

༉‧₊˚. Sometimes they subconsciously play with the charms

༉‧₊˚.Omg can you imagine them letting you decorate their basketball locker/cubby🥺 (??? is it a locker or a cubby?🤨, it looks like a cubby)

༉‧₊˚. Even before you got to their cubby, there’s remnants of you in it.

You guys never really prided yourselves on being ‘The trio that works’ you really just prided being close friends that actually understood each other and doesn’t leave the other out, and not even because you try, it’s just how it is. You guys are so engaged with each other that it’s almost impossible to leave the other out.

༉‧₊˚.Even if it seems like the other is left out, they’re really not. They’re most likely just being quiet cuz they want to while the other two (or one) is yapping their ass away. Said person is still being listened too though.

༉‧₊˚.Y’all’s dynamic is the yapper (paige), the listener (azzi), and the one that yaps but goes nonverbal from time to time (you)

༉‧₊˚. It also seems like out of the three of you, you have a short attention span and tend to do other shit while the other is talking. But I PROMISE you that you’re listening. Just cuz you’re not looking doesn’t mean you aren’t listening.

Themes: Fluff Pairing: Paige X Azzi TW: Swearing, Suggestive Content Words: 518 Let's get back into writing shall we LMAO , this is my first time writing on tumblr so please tell me if anything is messed up grammar/formatting wise!

_ "Netflix and chill, huh?" The teasing coming from the curly haired brunette is what makes Paige side-eye her best friend after giving back the microphone to the interviewers with a 'thanks' as they walk away. The hallway seeming much emptier without the interviewers and extra media attention. "Don't even, you said the exact same thing as me, Az." The blonde can't help the grin that shows on her face, blue eyes locking with crinkling brown ones. "I said it because you said it." Azzi nonchalantly shrugs, shoulder rubbing against Paige's as the duo continues their walk side by side. Their conversation slightly hushed despite being the only ones around. "Uh huh, Miss, hard is more satisfying." Paige allows her grin to grow once the flush of her girlfriend's cheeks begins to brighten, tanned skin showing a fair amount of rose tint to it. "What was that all about?" Paige continues with a husk, teasing the younger girl more as she moves to intertwine their hands, bringing Azzi's up to ghost her lips across the back of her hand. "What? Hardcovers, are more satisfying to me." The emphasis that Paige hears from the other only solidifies her belief that, that was not at all what Azzi was referencing and with a small shake of her head and laugh, Paige tightens her grip on the others hand softly, smirking when she feels Azzi lean more into her as they walk. "Guess lucky you, you don't ever have to try and deal with something soft." The innuendo is clear as the older girl speaks, earning a slight shove her best friend which just sparks her laughter more. Paige barely stumbles before she's back in her prior position, standing tall as Azzi leans into the other. As the music begins to become louder, and the end of the hallway comes into view, Paige starts to let go of the other's hand, reluctantly beginning to maintain the role of best friends once again for the crowd around them. However she freezes once she feels a tug on her hand, Azzi keeping the two limbs intertwined as Paige turns around towards her, eyebrow raised before blinking when she feels the quick peck of lips against hers. With a taste of her own medicine, Paige's own cheeks light up a much brighter red against her pale skin, Azzi's own dimpled grin shows as the younger lets go of their intertwined hands, walking past the taller blonde. "W-What was that for?" Paige gets out as she starts to move again, staying by the other's side as they begin to enter the concert venue, heart speeding up not only due to the blaring music and atmosphere as she knew right now, that was the last thing on her mind. "I don't know what you're talking about." Azzi states simply, hands folding behind her back before the two reunite with her own mother and family, the brunette missing the way that her girlfriend's eyes had never left her back until Usher began preforming his second song. Don't let that girl fool you, Azzi fudd, was a menace.

disclaimer: as always, many made up events. here's a little thing that i forced myself to write as a little gift for yall before i go on a short trip, hope yall enjoy

“Paige, get in here!” 

Paige ducks her head bashfully, but she goes to join the picture like Sue says. The photographer directs her to kneel at the front. Megan is next to her with Sue behind her and Diana and Stewie beside her with their wives. 

They pose for a few photos together, all the UConn women at the Wasserman party before everyone else floods in. 

Paige feels so much gratitude in that moment, to be so accepted in such an amazing group of women. 

She approaches the photographer after, asking to be sent the photos when they’re ready. 

The second they come in, she sends them through to Azzi. 

“Wish you were here. Miss you so much. 💗”

Paige is having a nice night when the text comes in. 

She’d come to Phoenix alone, but luckily the UConn family was expansive and the WNBA community so welcoming. She hadn’t needed to worry about not having company for a single moment. But that didn’t mean she didn’t still wish Azzi was here with her. It didn’t help that most of her friends had their partners with them.

So when Azzi texts that her flight into Phoenix had been canceled, Paige is hit with such a wave of sadness that Liv stops what she’s doing to ask her if she’s okay. 

“Azzi can’t make it.” 

And she knows it’s a little ridiculous because she just saw her, and she’ll be seeing her again in a few days, but at the moment, she misses Azzi desperately.

“Oh babe, you look so sad I thought something really horrible happened.” Liv laughs a little bit and gives her a side hug.

Paige pouts, leaning into the hug. She usually isn’t this publicly vulnerable, but she’s always felt safe around Liv who has been there for both her and Azzi.

“Bueckers!” Jewell Loyd approaches them, her girlfriend Téa at her side. 

Paige greets them both with hugs. She’d gotten to spend some time with them in Seattle when she visited Nika. 

“Where’s your girl?” Jewell questions playfully. “You talked her up so much the other week I’m excited to meet her.” 

“Her flight just got canceled.” Paige explains with a sigh. 

“Aw, well we’re gonna make sure you have a fun time tonight anyways.” 

And she does mostly, if only because she spends half of the night on her phone.

“Paige over here, smilin’ at her phone.” Flau’jae gives a sly look to her followers. She’s broadcasting the final minutes of the All Star game, and Paige had given a quick wave before registering Flau’jae’s quip. 

“Relax!” Paige crows, and both of them throw their heads back, cackling with laughter as they rock back and forth.

Within minutes, she knows the exchange will be all over the internet as people speculate about just who had Paige Bueckers cheesing at her phone. 

Sure enough, her phone begins to buzz with texts in the team group chat. A full on roast seems to be going on, with KK leading the charge, and she laughs at a few of the jokes, before a text comes in from outside the group.
