Day 233 of trying to guitar... i guess

I played a lot today. I am thinking of revisiting some riffs i tried to learn in the past but gave up on such as wenceslas or black dog. I think i might learn some of the solo i told myself i would learn. Tomorrow i think i might start with the hotel california solo or the another brick in the wall pt. 2 solo. We will see

Day 229-232 of trying to guitar... i guess

Day 90 of learning temple of the king

I forgot to post due to also not having something to post. Friday i could not play much guitar due to a live i went to and slept over at a friend's house after. Saturday i woke up and then immediatly had to go to a theater class, had less than 1 and a half hours to be at home before having to go to a party of a friend, the party went for long enough so no busses were passing thus i could not go home and ended up sleeping at a friend's house again. Sunday i went home and had abou 2 hours where i basicly relaxed and took back the taken sleep and after that had to go meet up with some friends resulting in me comming back at 23:50 and instantly dying on my bed. Monday, my mother came back home from vacatuon and i had to clean the home as fast as i could for her not to be mad resulting in no playing during the morning. But later in the afternoon i did play a lot, i stopped anchoring my hand after realising how bad it will be to my playing in the future. And that is about it. Just a whole lot of improv. I think learning temple of the king is something i should give it uo and stop writing it here.

I moatly improvised today. But like... a lot. I am dissapoined in myself for still not learning temple of the king. I will learn the solo tomorrow.

I forgot this place existes for a while. Anyways i mostly improvised the past few days. I started listening to steely dan and bow i am addicted to them. And that is about it. I am sorry for forgeting of this platform's existance

as promised the day before, i did play a lot. i woke up and finally got back into the schedule of waking up at 6:30 and playing guitar. so that is good. when i got back from school i also played a lot. i am hoping for this to continue tomorrow but that may not be possible due to plans with friends

day 79 of learning temple of the king i am back from the vacation. due to reasons of having to do an essay i could not play guitar much. but when i did i felt weaker... which is to be expected, but in general i had fun today. i will play a lot tomorrow

I did not play much yesterday. Like only an hour of just improv. But today... today due to a lack of work and the beginning of a 4 day break due to a vacation tomorrow i played a Lot. I mostly improvised and did me some ear training. But that is all

Today i did not play much due to the emotional shosk of blackstar remaining to this day and unforseen circumstances. Other than that nothing else

Today was good. i improvised a lot, listened to a few songs from exul by ne obliviscaris. but most importantly i listened to blackstar, i know this may be a spontaneous opinion that will change in the coming days but i think it is already my favorite album of all time. i am a person deeply fascinated by death, and the way the album it felt like what i wanted to know, what i wanted to learn. Other than that i just relaxed today nothing more.

Today i only played for 30 minutes after i woke up. I went to school and then over to a the homie's house who only had a bass. Thus i did not have the capability of playing guitar.

Day 72 of learning temple of the king

i couldn't post yesterday as i was at a party (until 4 a.m.) . but yesterday i played a lot mostly improvisation and practice of specific exercises. today i went over to the cousin who has been playing for a while and we talked about me going to musical studies in university and other possible options still related to music. today i also played a lot though i was interrupted due to having to spend a large amount of time in the toilet (1 and a half hours). and then i went over to the cousin and just played a bit there as well. now time for my monthly appreciation for what guitar has done for my life. I am so fcking thankful for guitar, since starting my social life initially plummeted a little but now i am feeling better than ever, i am more capable of holding conversations and can hang out in group settings more (yes those are correlated to guitar) other than that since starting to play guitar i have actually started to make new friends which is great, i also got rid of a lot of bad habits such as eating (not just biting) my nails and have changed my music taste for the better for quite a lot.

Today i was chilling at home with the homie so we just f*cked arround all day. So thust i did not practice the solo of temple of the king. After he left i mostly improvised doing nothing really. Right now i am veeery tired so imma go sleep

today i played, but not much. i had a lot of things to do other than guitar sadly. but i did play. i figured out that it is not easy to play along to moonlight sonata movement 3... so that was basically a workout/ other than that, tomorrow the homie that plays bass will come over so i will play a fair bit then. oh and the day after tomorrow i have a lot to do, (i have to go to a party and some theater classes). but that is about it

Day 68 of learning temple of the king

i learned a bit of the solo. but mostly i just improvised and while i wasn't i was feeling empty and purposeless. other than that i made arrangements to meet with a cousin of mine who has been playing guitar for about 20 years and is who i go to when i have any questions. other than that i didn't do anything... OH YEAH THAT HAPENNED, a friend of mine who does acting asked me to do an improvisation thingy for music for a scene. the scene was a character feels like they are being watched by someone and is scared so i was supposed to make something that creates anxiety. so i detuned the guitar to create anxiety(not to a tuning, rather standard tuning but strings are very flat or very sharp). but i did not do the thing today, rather today i made something on fl studio to either be used as a background of the imrov or just as nothing only there for me to realize the vibe we are looking for

Today as promised i started the proscess of waking up 15 minutes earlier by waking up 5 minutes today. Tomorrow i plan on waking up 5 minutes earlyer than today and so on. Guitar, i did play... improvise. Look, i was tired and barely had the energy to play, i could not learn the solo of temple of the king. But that is about all, i would lastly like to point out that todays tiredness comes from a general fcked up sleep schedule that is also slowly getting fixed.
