This is similar to an idea for a sequel that I have, with Iino and Ishigami starting their tenure as Student Council President and Vice President already couple but with them “fighting” to stay a couple.

Suggestion for a sequel series after “Kaguya-Sama: Love is War” ends:

A spin-off titled “Miko-Sama: Life is War”. 

This would presumably be set the following year, after Kaguya, Miyuki and Chika all graduated. Instead of the story being about Miko and Ishigami pursuing each other like Kaguya and Miyuki, the spin-off starts off with the two of them already as a couple. The main problem in this series is instead about their reign as Student Council president and vice president and all the struggles that come with it.

Remember, everyone at the school adored Kaguya and Miyuki because they were practically celebrities. Kaguya was the richest girl at school while Miyuki was the top of his class. That’s in stark contrast to Ishigami and Miko, who are both somewhere near the bottom in terms of class popularity (Ishigami climbed a bit, but he’s still not Miyuki level).

So instead of the series being a battle of wits over romance, it’s a battle of wits to gain the respect and love of the student body in order to become just as beloved as the previous president/vice president. This would be a NIGHTMARE SITUATION for Ishigami and Miko since they’re both introverts who suck at social situations. But it’d be fucking hilarious to read.

(Side note: I went with Miko for the title since I see her as the second lead of the series, especially since the previous arc was all about her)

Which do you prefer in fabtasy, swords or guns? Or what about gunblades?

If I’m being honest swords have always had a soft spot in my heart. Something about them seems so romantically honorable. Maybe it how close you have to be to use them. You have to look your opponent in the eyes while you fight.

That said I do enjoy guns in a fantasy setting only because there’s something absurd about it.

With the way things are going, it seems that Miyuki (also blond) is Miko’s Haysaka.

I can’t believe this current arc of “Kaguya-Sama” is Miko Iino training to become a gamer girl lol. 

Also, I stand by what I wrote previously. Miko is the new Kaguya based on how her character acts in this current arc (she also has her first “how cute” moment). Also…is Rei Onodera becoming her Ai Hayasaka? As in her friend that she trusts and relies on for romantic advice (Rei is blonde as well!). Because it seemed like Chika was going to be her Hayasaka but that quickly went south since Chika turned against her.

Its a shame you’re not writing for the show.

Imagine if you will, a slight alteration to volume 7s finale. Instead of Oscar it’s Ruby who goes to speak to Ironwood.

The scene plays out at first very similar, Ruby giving the standard hero protagonist speech and ironwood replies much the same as he did to Oscar.

But imagine he goes farther. That he continues, becoming more and more unhinged and emotional the longer he talks, all that frustration he’s been bottling up spilling out.

“If you are so certain you know what’s best then tell me the alternative. Tell me how I save everyone. Tell me how we can stop her!”

Ruby starts buckling under the question. Trying to stammer out an answer as the large man moves closer to her, his voice louder by the word. He’s angry but..pleading. He wants and answer. He NEEDS an answer. Something to point him away from the path he’s on.

“Don’t give me empty platitudes or sentimentality! Tell me how we win! Tell me how we justify risking the world! What is your plan to defeat Salem?!”

“I DONT HAVE ONE!”

She stops.

Covers her mouth.

And for five seconds this show has alittle self awareness.

Even if she isn’t Taiyang’s daughter (and I’m not saying she isn’t), he still raised, fed, clothed, and loved her like a daughter. That’s more than anyone else has done for her. 

Everytime I see some long essay about how ruby isn’t Taiyangs daughter I die a little inside

Doubt it.

I think about cold a lot.

Cold is a arkos song yes but “Now it’s cold without you here, it’s like winter lasts all year” Is such taisum energy With her name being summer and tais shutdown, Winter being the loss of summers warmth. It works too well.

The thematic parallels between arkos and seasonal depression...it’s really sad when you think about it. I wonder if we will ever get a moment to acknowledge it

Narrowing her eyes, Raven looks over to Igraine.  “If you want my help, the lot of you had better prove me wrong – and you’d better do it quickly,” she says.  “Convince me that the ends don’t justify the means to the lot of you.  Convince me that you’re an order of knights and not a bunch of killers who traded your souls for immortality.”

Igraine breathed, the way forward becoming clear. “Knights!” she called, still locking eyes with Raven. “Attention!” All Knights immediately stood up in an upright position; chin up and hands at their sides.

“Knights,” she called again. “On my command, you will remove your Blackwater Vials...remove!” Igraine and the other Knights, in unison, ripped the chained vials from their necks in quick but clean motions.

“Knights,” she called for a third time. “Under no circumstances are you to harm our guests, is that understood?” “Yes, my lady!” they answered in unison.

Igraine then draws the long-knife from behind her back and offers it to Raven. “If you believe us to be as evil as Salem,” she says. “Then we should be destroyed. As one belonging to such a noble bloodline as King Uriens, then it should fall upon  you to carry out this deed.”
