okay so its been a while since i came here to vent it all out but i guess im back at it again its gonna be a long story so prepare some snacks lol

this year january after 3 months of self healing i decided to give another try to finding love and i downloaded this dating app called Boo everything was nice the attention felt great i worked out 5 days a week at home i lost 10kg beforehand so i finally started feeling good about myself

i payed 2500 huf for the premium version of the app for a year which is super cheap this was at january 5th i could see the people who liked me and i could just pick whoever i wanted to match with and wait for their messages I GOT A LOT the attention was soo flattering i felt so good about myself i had a lot of nice conversations

around like the 15th of january i started talking to this guy he messaged me on my instagram as well and he was matching my energy perfectly he sent long messages addressing everything i sent on mines and he looked cute from the pictures i saw on his boo profile and we agreed on a date at january 26th sunday

so the whole week i was excited we were texting all day everyday day and this one time he sent me a mirror selfie in which he looked very different than the photos on his boo profile and i panicked bc he looked way skinnier than me and i mean i had no problem with him being a skinny guy or his looks in general even tho he looked completely different but i panicked bc now that i saw that hes super skinny my insecurities started whispering into my ears thoughts like “he’s gonna run away bc you’re too fat for him” etc so i started texting him less and i got really depressed and i told him that there’s something bothering me he asked whats wrong and offered to call me when i got home from work

so i went home got into my workout clothes and i started to take unflattering pictures of myself and told him that i have a lot of loose skin from weightloss and that im not your typical skinny girl he said that its okay and it doesn’t bother him but i still couldn’t calm down and i just felt the need to show him more so i started a video chat

it changed everything he saw me and he looked at me like i was already the love of his life, from what i could see from him i also liked how he looked way more than before and we talked for what like 5 hours same for the next day and the next day

i was already falling in love hard the way he looked at me like i was the most beautiful thing he has ever seen it was addicting and it was obvious that we couldn’t wait for sunday to meet so he asked if i wanted to meet on saturday instead he would come pick me up in my city (it was an hour and 10 minutes drive from him) and drive me back to his place to spend the night there also but on friday after i got home from work and we started to facetime all we could talk about was how we can’t wait to see each other tomorrow and i told him that my sister made a comment when i got home about why not just come over and get me today AND HE DID we arrived at his place around 10pm

It was great overall he was super nice and cute and we spent an amazing weekend together talking a lot having deep conversations but it was really hard for my body dysmorphia bc he was in fact way skinnier than me and barely even taller i have seen pictures of his ex and she was a lot smaller a tiny skinny girl i could never possibly compare to these thoughts were constantly in the back of my head even tho he was all over me loving me in our first weekend together
