I got into Baldur's gate recently and it has been consuming my mind and someone (ahem, me) saw Astarion and let's just say I had an idea to draw him.

Specifically my boy Twilight

He literally puts his scent on everyone's belongings.

He claims it's to make it easier for him to find them if they get lost. And to possibly scare off any monsters. But it's just a protective instinct he has. He did the same thing back in Ordon. And it did prove to somewhat work as a scent to scare off monsters over there. But the monsters do not care here. Yet, he continues to mask his scent over everyone's belongings.

He puts his scent on people with 2 ways:

As a wolf: He rubs himself over every item. Like weapons, shields, bags, etc.

As Hylian: He leaves items of his into the chains bags. Like a rock he found that happened to be covered in his scent. Or maybe a piece of his fur.

Because he rubs his scent everywhere in his wolf form, his fur literally gets absolutely EVERYWHERE. And everyone's sick of it. But does he care? Not at all. In fact, he prefers his hair to be everywhere. It's kind of a territorial thing for him.

The only one who doesn't necessarily mind might be Wild. But that's only because his covered in all types of things 99.99% of the time.

But Wild does sometimes get irritated because whenever he hunts for food, Twilights scent scares off the animals, and it becomes basically impossible to stealth kill them because of how strong Twilights scent is.

And yet, Twilight takes a lot of pride in this. It's like a mask of ownership to him in a way. And he claims that his not overprotective.
