Nepal
Nepal’s nickname is “the ceiling of the world”. This nickname came to be due to Nepal having 8 of the 10 worlds highest mountains. While Nepal is a very poor and low developed country I am going to show you a few hidden gems in Nepal to visit. So strap on your hiking boots and lets go on an adventure to the ceiling of the world!

Things to Explore in Nepal
There is quite a bit of cultural things to explore while in Nepal, places like Pashupatinath Temple, Boudanath, Lumbini and so many other amazing attractions. I will be showing you a few places to visit while in Nepal. Be prepared to be awed by the sites Nepal has to offer!
The Garden of Dreams
The Garden of Dreams is a neoclassical garden that was the vision of Kaiser Sumsher Rana. Built in 1920 this beautiful garden if full of fountains, pergolas, pavilions and ponds. While it was neglected after Kaiser’s death this beautiful garden still has some standing fountains. This beautiful garden still stands and you are able to visit and explore Kaiser’s vision that came to life!

Pashupatinath Temple
The Pashupatinath Temple is a famous and sacred Hindu temple complex located on the banks of the Bagmati River. The origin of this temple is unknown with only legends of how this temple came to be. This beautiful temple has a roof made of copper which is covered in gold. With beautifully decorated wooden sculptures which are believed to make wishes come true. The most eye catching thing to seek in this temple is the golden statue of Nandi (a bull statue). This temple is a huge attraction as there are many legend and stories around this temple. Many believe that if you die within this temple you will be reborn as a human no matter the sinful things you have done.

Chitwan National Park
Chitwan National Park is home to sixty eight mammal species! Including the Bengal tigers! The national park was established in 1973. With a wide range of vegetation in the national park it gives homes to more than 700 species of wildlife and insects. Things like Rock pythons, Monitor lizards, Starred tortoises, Mugger crocodiles and 113 species of fish. With many animals to seek out when visiting the national park it will make it an unforgettable trip!
Chitiwan is one of Nepal’s most popular tourist destinations! You can take a safari tour that is 2 nights and 3 days! There will be no doubt that you will not come into contact with many species of wildlife that reside in Chitwan.

Iran
Iran is home to many delicious foods filled with spices that are beyond delicious. There are many delicious foods to taste, places to visit and things to see and explore. Iran’s culture is something worth experiencing when visiting Iran. A cool fact about Iran is that it has the biggest oil reserves in the world! While most want to visit the United Kingdom or Germany, Iran is the country you want to visit if you want to experience delectable foods and culture.

Things to Explore in Iran
There are a few things I would love to share with you on what to do and what to explore in Iran. In Iran there are many exciting things to see, like the Ruins of Persepolis, Alamut Castle, Yakhchāls and so many more attractions.
The Ruins of Persepolis
Persepolis used to be the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire. These beautiful ruins are dated back to 515 BCE. The function of Persepolis is unclear and it is a theory that it was used as a grand ceremonial complex. Sadly these beautiful structures where burnt and still show their scars of flames. The Ruins of Persepolis are worth seeing and experiencing as they are a part of Persian history.

Nasir al-Mulk Mosque
Nasir al-Mulk Mosque is a breathtaking view when inside and the sun shining in on the color stained glass. This beautiful mosque has Persian rugs, colored tiles on the ceiling, stained glass, and alluring architecture. Nasir al-Mulk Mosque will leave you stunned with its beauty and spiritual aura. This mosque brings in many tourists who wish to experience this spiritual place with the stained glass and the spiritual aura.

Yakhchāls
Yakhchāls is an ancient type of evaporative cooler, built above ground. This structure has a domed shape. Yakhchāls are used as a subterranean storage space, often being used to store ice and sometimes food as well. These structures are a unique site to see, they look like something out of this world! As if an alien had built them. Believe it or not these odd structures stored ice!

Mexico
Mexico has many things to see and explore. Fresh fruits and amazing foods that are garden fresh and delicious. You can explore the beaches, the people, animals, culture and beautiful weather. Did you know that Mexico is the 11th most populated country in the world and is adored by many!
There are many beautiful cities and towns to visit when you are in Mexico. Cancun, Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta, are just a few of the many cities visited by tourists every year. With their beautiful attractions bringing people from all over the world.

Thing to Explore in Mexico
Mexico is famously known for the amount of foods that have originated there. Things like avocados, chocolate and pumpkins. Mexico is also known for agave which comes from a cactus. Mexico is also a very known country for tourists to travel to in attempt to escape the cold weather. Many tourists visit Mexico for the beaches and beautiful hot weather. I am here today to show you a few things to do in Mexico besides residing in your bathing suit on the sandy shores. Get ready to explore a bit more about Mexico’s attractions.

Snorkeling, lounging by a pool, beaches, hiking, diving and so much more. If you are most intrigued by scuba diving Cozumel island in Mexico is one of the best places to scuba dive. With life bursting at the seams in crystal blue waters.

La Isla de las Muñecas
If you are up for an unusual site then the Island of Dolls is perfect for you. La Isla de las Muñecas is located in Xochimilco. The dolls where placed by the former owner of the island, Julián Santana Barrera. He believed that dolls helped to chase away the spirit of a girl that drowned near the island years ago. This island is a highly visited place by many people who are ghost hunters or thrill seekers. Be ready to be creeped out by the decaying dolls that hang in trees of the island. Spooky!

Hidden Beach
Playa del Amor, or more commonly known as the Hidden Beach, is located in Marieta Islands. This beach is very unique. Its appearance looking as if the earth had made a hidden get away beach perfect for relaxation with loved ones or just simply to relax. Playa del Amor looks as if a mini paradise beach was built inside of another world put onto the land.

Las Pozas
Las Pozas is a sculptured garden which was sculpted by an eccentric English poet. His name was Edward James, he created these sculptures in Xilitla between 1949 and 1984. Las Pozas includes more than eighty acres of natural waterfalls and pools that interlace with towering surrealist sculptures made of concrete.

Amazon Rainforest
The Amazon rainforest is home to many unique animals and plants. The Amazon is one of largest rainforests remaining, which houses at least 10% of the world’s known biodiversity. Home to many rare animals and plants such as Hyacinth macaw and the plant Rafflesia (pictured below). Travelling to the Amazon rainforest can be tricky and pricey but worth every penny.

Things to Explore in the Amazon
There are jungle hikes, Amazon river fishing, Amazon river tours, jungle survival tours, zip-lining and much much more. One of the most amazing things to be able to see and experience is taking a boat ride on the Amazon river to seek out pink dolphins that reside in the Amazon.
When travelling to the Amazon you will experience beautiful lands full of thriving life. From poisonous animals to rare plants that are very eye catching. If you get a chance to experience this amazing rainforest I highly suggest taking every opportunity given to explore the Amazon rainforest and the Amazon river.
A Cruise on the Amazon River
Taking a cruise on the Amazon river will leave you with an experience like no other. Being able to set foot in one of the largest rainforests in the world is a wonderful opportunity like no other. Watch out below for the creatures that reside in the beautiful blue waters of the river. You’ll never know what you will see when you are in the Amazon.

Hiking in the Amazon
I highly suggest visiting the Amazon rainforest and trekking through the land and waters. There beautiful and rare animals and plants to seek out, with trees as tall as skyscrapers and bugs big enough to be the size of dinner plates, I promise taking a hike in this dangerous rainforest will be an adventure like no other!

The Amazon River
One of the most exciting things to explore would be fishing in the Amazon river. The Amazon river is also home to many crazy and weird creatures. Even the famous show River Monsters explored the Amazon river catching weird creatures such as a Payara. The man Jeremy Wade even swam with Pink Dolphins, taking a risk by jumping into these dangerous waters full of odd and dangerous creatures.

Travelling
Welcome to Hailee’s Tumblr Travel Blog! I am your blogger Hailee and I will be teaching you a bit about a few places in the world that to me are exciting and adventurous. These places are the ones that are on my bucket list and I hope to one day visit these places and explore the attractions that I have gathered to show you.
