ok so i was rewatching the episode and i got to the stargazing scene. Ragatha's tone was different. It wasn't pity or sorrow, it was almost blame. Irritation at the very least. Her eyebrows go down, and it seems she means it in a rather snarky way. I still think she's talking about Ribbit, but maybe something happened before they abstracted? Jax took a prank too far, accidently hurt them, something like that. That severed the relationship and maybe caused Ribbit to abstract. That's why Jax was so pissed. Not because she brought up something in his past, but specifically that incident. Goose also said Jax has done some horrible things (If I'm remembering correctly), so this may be what she's hinting at. Thoughts?

For context, in a scene from Ep5, Pomni asked if Jax had an actual friends, and Ragatha said "Not anymore." In the intermission, we see Jax running to another character's room after seeing that Kaufmo abstracted. The character is a frog, so I think it's safe to assume it's Ribbit (unless it's an ironic joke). Gooseworx said Ribbit was the person who abstracted before Kaufmo. This scene shows that Jax and Ribbit were pretty close, seeing as he sprinted to their room to check on them.

Also Jax looked upset at the end of Episode 2 when Ragatha mentioned holding a funeral, which hinted at Ribbit's abstraction. It could be why he's latched onto Pomni, subtly trying to keep her from abstracting.

THE AMAZING DIGITAL CIRCUS THEORY

Okay guys so I just finished watching The Amazing Digital Circus episode 5 and I have a theory. Brief disclaimer I know the theory I’m going to mention someone has probably already been said or some people might think is like obvious or something but I’m just high off excitement from that episode and I NEED to talk about it lol.

ANYWAYS, my theory is that Jax, Ragatha, and the frog looking character (the character on the door Jax stopped at during the intermission song that I’m almost positive was the friend Ragatha was referring to during the stargazing adventure) used to be best friends but when the frog abstracted things took a turn. In this episode Jax shows frustration at the fact that Ragatha acts like everything is fine and happy all the time which leads me to think that Jax has seen a side of Ragatha we haven’t. I think that before the frog abstracted Ragatha was a lot more open about her feelings and had less of a filter which might be why Jax is so upset that she acts so happy all the time because he knows she wasn’t always like that. I think that when the frog abstracted, as a way to cope with things, Ragatha dawned a cheery and happy persona to ignore/not have to confront the fact that one of her close friends abstracted. I think that’s why Jax is frustrated with her personality because it’s fake. I think he is upset because he lost a best friend and Ragatha his only true remaining friend is acting like everything is fine when everyone knows it’s not. I also think that’s why Ragatha seems almost jealous towards the end of the episode seeing Jax and Pomni bonding because she used to be like that with Jax.

I know this theory is very surface level and a bit silly for me to go on a rant about but one of my favorite parts about watching shows is crafting theories even if they aren’t great, y’know?

one thing that so many students forget is that, a win is a win. if you planned on doing english homework but instead you finished your history essay, celebrate that, don’t be upset that you didn’t sick to your plan, at least you got SOMETHING DONE. a win is a fucking win and don’t let anyone tell you different.

blitzo and millie go to investigate a hotel (trailer)

we get how millie & blitzo first met (millie has long hair, seems like flashback (trailer))
