Guys, I had one of those “prophetic Obama” dreams last night.

We were sitting in a courtyard, watching a couple of deer, and Obama just looked at me, nodded and said, “only bare your teeth if you’re willing to get blood on them.” And then stood and walked over to feed one of the deer.

Like, the fuck?! I can’t come up with advice that good when I’m awake?!

there’s a part in the howl’s moving castle dub where howl’s freaking out because he doesn’t think he’s beautiful anymore and sophie just says “you think you’ve got it bad? i’ve never once been beautiful in my entire life” and that quote’s been echoing around my brain since i was nine years old

go through a drawer and get rid of things you don’t need

I’m honestly really offended by this. I’m not saying there aren’t nurses who do bad things, but being a nursing student has shown me how amazing nurses are.

All of you people talking crap about nurses should feel ashamed, the career doesn’t pay enough for us to all be bullies with a power complex. Most nurses chose the job out of the kindness of their heart, and the physical and emotional toll of the job can be a lot for them. If you have poor experience with nurses I am genuinely sorry, because you’re missing out on some of the most miraculous people on the planet.

dont underestimate the power of kindness. strength is not being cold hearted and aloof, it’s being amicable in the face of bitterness or gentle with those who need to be loved. so please, if nothing else, be kind.
