Forces of evil!
Here’s a look at some of the enemies you’ll find just in the prologue.  First off, we have the Vacant. https://imgur.com/apXRO0d This is the most basic version of this enemy. There are plenty of different kinds. Vacant are corpses suffused with magic. Many of these are corpses of humans slain by the Dryads in the War of the Vines, though humans who die shortly after consuming a Spelldrink risk rising as Vacant as well. The type of magic determines the type of Vacant - there are many - as well as their age. The longer they last, the more the magic twists their bodies. This particular example is human, but there have been sightings of Vacant wildlife as well. Then, we have the Voidcats.  https://imgur.com/MrmWKC2 Wildcats of many kinds are native throughout Insavance. The Dryads’ magics twisted the flora and fauna of much of the southern part of the country, and Voidcats are just one example - panthers that have developed the ability to short-range teleport. Some of them have additional magical abilities as well. There are rumours that the Skypirate rebels have developed a device capable of taming these savage beasts... The final enemy for today - say hello to the first boss you’ll fight in The Garden Path, the Vacant Hulk. https://imgur.com/5MbKT88 Despite their size and brutish appearance, Vacant Hulks aren’t as mindless as most of their counterparts. The magic in their dead veins has run wild, distorting their bodies and granting them great physical strength as well as some powerful magical abilities, and more of an awareness of what’s going on around them. Rarely seen, these creatures have been known to gather lesser Vacant in groups and assault small towns. One of the many reasons most towns, even the smallest, have guardians.

Our Tumblr is here!
Hey everyone! We’re excited to announce that our previously announced-then-shelved game, “Isabella”, is back under a new name - The Garden Path! This project is far more ambitious than Isabella was - check out the About The Game page to read about the features, or About The Setting to read about the game’s setting.
The story and characters have had a bit of an overhaul since we originally began work on this project, but those changes don’t even hold a candle to how much farther we’re taking the features.
Ben and I had to reluctantly put the game on a shelf due to a whole bunch of real life circumstances that happened, but we’re back and with bigger plans than ever!
