A Year Later...

Sorry everyone! This year has been a little bit manic, I will try my best to get back on track so I might be posting as much as I can this weekend. Basically since February I have had A LOT of issues.. my co-teacher changed and the last few months have been pretty hellish to be completely honest. What with a mass of miscommunication, a bad working attitude causing a terrible working relationship (from said change) and basically an unhealthy work environment Monday to Friday. The stress has meant I have been feeling terrible in every way; mentally, physically and emotionally. Things are looking up though after discussing my problems with school and here’s to hoping for the best. Just trying to fall in love with this country again!

Hiatus

Well, I’ve been in Korea nearly a year now and my last post was in MARCH last year. I’m on vacation now so going to update with as much information as I can go the teachers that will be coming this year through EPIK. There will also be many pictures coming your way and stories of my experiences!

16/5/15- Coffee shop on the outskirts of Seoul When you arrive in Seoul I’d advise going everywhere you can and seeing lots of different places!

Advice- Try independent coffee shops, there are many in Korea and they are where you find some of the  best drinks!

26/4/15- Cheonggyecheon again ^^

25/4/15- Cheonggyecheon.. Peace and quiet and coffee ^^ Now the temperature is getting warmer and the Cheonggyecheon is looking more green!

18/4/15- National Museum of Korea Very interesting! Would advise going in summer as there is a family park nearby so you can enjoy the weather!

14/04/15- Shabu Shabu.. warm and delicious! Shabu shabu starts with a broth which is heated in the pan.. you add vegetables and then meat (but the meat only goes in for 30 seconds and it’s cooked).. which you eat. Then you add noodles once you have eaten the boiled vegetables and meat.. then after eating the noodles finally rice which absorbs the liquid. You are truly full after eating shabu shabu, haha. Amazing in winter when cold!
