Square Enix Halo 4: Play Arts Kai Spartan Warrior Action Figure

My spartan finally arrived in the mail today after I pre-ordered it last November! The pictures are unfiltered so what you see is exactly what you get, and that is precisely why this particular series from Square Enix does not disappoint. I have seen and own some of their Reach figures - my favorite being Emile in particular which you view here - but they have taken articulation and detail to a new level with these latest installments. 

Amazon currently has the spartan warrior up for $58.91 which may seem a little steep on the outset. However, if you are looking for the ultimate Halo 4 souvenir in the form of an action figure, I encourage you to think twice about Square Enix’s latest series because the quality is absolutely badass. 

I will include a photoset of weapon close-ups in my next post for Halo fans and collectors alike to get a feel of what you can expect if you decide to purchase the spartan.

Not sure if any of you have seen this yet, but Bungie is taking applications for alpha/beta testing for Destiny for some time in the future. I’m not sure what phase of the game they’re actually looking for us to test, but nevertheless, I’ve put in my application to play.

The Halo 3 Great Journey Feb 1-2-3! Attention all followers! Kind of late-ish news but for all you hardcore (or softcore, normalcore..) Halo players, there is a post floating around Reddit trying to bring back Halo 3 players by flood-ing (witty pun) the servers! So get onto that pronto and invite your friends from Tumblr and XBL! Whether it be for a serious match, co-oping campaign to find the floating guy in board-shorts, tea-bagging on the side, or heck even trolling 12 year-olds! See you starside!

You open your Halo 4 case, savoring the moment. You have waited years for this game. You’ve played previously released halo titles such as Halo: ODST, Halo: Reach, and the ever so popular Halo wars. Even though you have played and loved each of these games, Halo 4 is the one you have been yearning for all these years. A tear builds up in your eye as you remember the exact moment when you grabbed the game case from the cardboard display, and when you waited in line, yearning and holding the game case like it was a newborn baby. But alas, the moment has come, you peel off the plastic covering the game case, ah what a feeling. You stare at the shiny cover with the hero of the series in plain view, examining every single detail. You suddenly cannot hold in it any longer, you grasp the case, slowly opening it. Your heart sings as you hear the loving snap as it opens, but there is something horribly wrong. You stare at the disc, anger builds up in you. The case is thrown across the room as you scream, the disc still in your hands. You glare back at the disc, questioning its existence, as you read the title.

The title reads “Banjo-Kazooie, Nuts and Bolts”
