I love how when I was younger I used read sooooooo many Akatsuki fanfiction. Mostly College and Mafia au's or generally 'the dirty side of tokio' but oooooooooof, I still ship deidara and sasori without even having the investment in naruto that most ppl have.
The Canon: The akatsuki rarely see one another, other than their partner, and none of them seem to particularly like anyone else. They all have their own motive for joining, and it does not go past that.
Us, to this day: The Akatsuki all live in the same absurdly big house, they are all best friends who quarrel, they are probably dating and super in love with their partner.
