As part of my effort to rewrite the stupidly long series that is Laws of Motion, here's the ✨refreshed✨ edition of Chapter 1 - in which before the fall of Insmonia, everything was still ok I guess. Rewriting this felt like I looked into someone else's life when they were in their early twenties and thought, "You know what? we were all so young back then and we didn't know any better." 🤧

It goes without saying that when I started this series in 2017 (which is disgustingly 7 years ago????), I was in a different era of my life and revisiting this series now, I felt the unspeakable urge to rewrite the last couple of chapters not because I am entirely insane (just a wee bit) but because this project really is my brainrot and my creative outlet, and the way I wrote before no longer reflects the way I write now. Not that I needed to explain that lmao

After 5 years, Chapter 39 of Laws of Motion is now up and as tumblr dot com is my trash pit for all my writing, posting it here for the sake of it. Anyway it really is so fucking surreal that I am now the same age as the timeskip!bros so it's very obvious that I'm just. Projecting. Entirely. In this chapter.

The problem about having brainrot for your own fic is that I want to talk about it constantly but I don’t want to spoil anything but I want to talk about motives and characters and just the events but I want to preserve mystery and suspense
