When words come out sounding WAY worse than they did in your head

Prior to this, Ash gets really protective of his mom and starts terrorizing Jessie (usually with harmless pranks and generally trying to get under her skin). Ash ends up staying home a bit longer than he usually does because of this and Delia was happy to have him around. Jessie is resilient and endures this for a long time however and Ash eventually throws in the towel.

One morning tells Delia he's going to leave on another journey the following day. Delia worries that she's pushing Ash away with this new relationship and wants nothing more than to keep the two most important people in her life...well... in her life.

Now, as a Mimicker artist, I technically don’t have a style of my own, which, unfortunately, makes the whole “Draw This In Your Style” a moot point… So, I would like to consider this a redrawing of their works in a more FanART kind of piece… ^^; Hope that’s doable.

I've gotten a lot of asks wondering how Delia comes to figure out Jessie's relationship status/how they find out whether the other likes women or not hahaha.

Headcanon time!

When Jessie and Delia aren't cuddling, they usually sleep like this. Jessie's used to sleeping small and sharing space with other people (squishing on tiny beds or park benches with James and Meowth) so she drifts to the edge of the bed and curls up. Delia on the other hand hasn't shared a bed with anyone in years and takes up a lot of space and is a cover hog (good thing Jessie handles being cold well). Delia's love language is physical touch so she tends to follow Jessie wherever she is on the bed just so she can feel her there. This usually leads to Delia having way too much room on her side
