It's because it's a Hallmark movie. They have certain rules about that kind of thing. Especially when those movies were coming out.

I just watched Dead over heels and in that movie, Aurora and Martin have been dating for over a year. Yet, when someone has broken in in Aurora's house and Martin says he'll spend the night, he then says 'on the sofa'.

And I'm like.... Why? You've been together for over a year?

Maybe it's a weird American thing or a weird American religious thing (or just a weird movie thing) but I don't believe for one second that they've been together for so long and he's never spend the night in the same bed?! Let alone Not done anything in that bed?!

I mean, have you seen her? And him? They are both gorgeous and clearly in love and yet, he has to sleep on the sofa?!

And like, they've been together for over a year and apparently have no have sex but then it IS normal for him to want to ask her to marry him because 'you've been together for over a year'. (as Aidi, her mom points out).

That for me is then weirder because 1 year doesn't sound nearly long enough to make that kind of decisious. And what if you get married and then you don't click sexually? I know it's not the most important part of a relationship but for most couples it's a very important part so don't you need to figure that out before you 'put a ring on it'?!

Hope and Landon knew each other before 5x12 of the Originals. They had talked, though it is unknown how much they talked. But based on the evidence, this is what I've assumed.

The students never really go to the Mystic Grill because of the whole Timberwolves vs Stallions and because of the secrets needing to be kept. They never really went into town at all mostly. But Hope went there a lot. They knew each other in 5x12. He had her milkshake order memorized. Not only was it something ordered frequently, but he was her waiter frequently. Frequently enough to have it memorized.

He also said she hadn't been around much lately. Which means it wasn't recent that she had been but also that she had been around frequently before hand. He also knew her name. First and the last name she was going by (Hope Marshall). He also knew she was from New Orleans.

Hope never really opened up to people, even before Legacies. Yet this local boy Landon Kirby, who was merely a waiter at the Mystic Grill, had her milkshake memorized and knew information about her life. Even though he didn't know she was supernatural or her past.

Considering this used to be just a Legacies account, I'm gonna make a list of TVDU facts and opinions about me

I absolutely love Delena. I have loved that ship nearly since the show came out.

I have been a fan of The Vampire Diaries since I was nine years old. My mom watched it with me (and skipped the sex scenes)

I love Camille, but I do not ship Klamille. There's only one real reason, but I struggle to get past it. It's how much she compelled her to the point of her having to write a bunch of notes to herself and also briefly thinking she was going crazy. And the amount of pain she had to go through to get the compulsion removed. If I can get past that one day, I'd ship them.

Delena is my favorite tvd ship. Haylijah is my favorite The Originals ship. Handon is my favorite Legacies ship.

Some of my other ships include klaroline, bonenzo, beremy, janna, Jelaric, jolaric, maroline, mabekah, bonnora, freelin, Jaiden, jayley, kolvina, Mizzie, mizziethan, Methan, lizethan, Finsie, benjed, Jenizzie, Tyliv

My favorite tvdu characters are Hope, Damon, Elena, Landon, Stefan, Klaus, Lizzie, and Bonnie.

Hope is my favorite character ever.

I love book Delena as well.

I don't like Tyler except during season 2.

I like Matt, though he gets on my nerves in season 7.

Elijah is my second favorite Original Vampire

I'm a big bisexual Lizzie believer.

My favorite friendships are Hope and Lizzie, Bonnie Elena and Caroline, Stefan and Caroline, Damon and Alaric

I loved Steroline friendship, but I wasn't really a fan of how they were in a relationship or once it became romantic.

Bonenzo should have been endgame and not death trope.

Hope, Landon, Bonnie, and Elena are the least selfish TVDU characters. And I stand on that firmly. Elena tried to sacrifice herself repeatedly to save people she loves, and yet the fandom tends to ignore that because she wasn't successful.

TyVick should not have had an implied endgame after the way he treated her. And I'm not even a fan of Vicki. Plus Tyliv was RIGHT there. And that was actually a good ship.

The series finale of tvd broke me, and I haven't rewatched that specific episode since. But I remember it pretty well.

We should have gotten a season 5 of Legacies. It would have been so good
