Starting today, work more & more on your belief that “Allah is watching.” & you will find your life falling into place. No matter how hard the temptation to sin, or how painful some situation in life is, keep telling yourself “Allah is watching”.

New hijabi: week one
So I have officially been wearing hijab for one week. Let me fill you all in on how that’s gone for me.
Day 1: positive response from a few co workers. I mentioned why I was wearing hijab very briefly and we all went about our day like normal. It was nice. I felt relief and overwhelming happiness. Alhamdulillah.
Day 2: I arrive to my second job the next morning, mention to THAT manager why I was wearing hijab. They thought it was cool and again, end of discussion. Another sigh of relief. Alhamdulillah.
Day 3: I post my announcement online to friends and family. I get overwhelming comments of support and acceptance and alhamdulillah for everything! Things were going rather well.
Day 4: I figured everyone was used to it and the shock and awe was gone. I was optimistic and felt like my new normal was finally established in the world.
Day 5: I’m scrolling through modanisa and my manager says “what are they wearing on their heads? Jihad? Johadi? Lol idk, it’s that terrorist clothing” so day 5 while I was wearing hijab, I was being told that the hijab was what terrorists wear. 😒
Day 6: somebody says “I heard you’re just wearing that because you’re lazy and don’t want to do your hair.” Thanks.
Day 7: “did you color your hair and it looks bad so you’re trying to cover it up?!”
But alhamdulillah later in the day of day 7 a friend makes me feel good for wearing it.
I know Allah chose me to wear hijab and be a Muslim because Allah knows I can handle all of this. I am smart, strong, brave, and most importantly... I say bismillah before putting it on for a reason.

Quote
O you, sinful servant,do you not know that Allāh is At-Tawwaab,The One Who accepts repentance? Ar-Rahman,The entirely Merciful? Ar-Raheem,The most Merciful? Al-‘Afuwu,The Pardoner? Al-Ghafoor,The All Forgiving? Al-Ghaffaar,The Most Forgiving? So why then do you lose hope in the mercy of Allāh? Those who convince themselves that Allāh wont forgive them have truely been fooled. Verily,Allāh loves those who repent, and Allāh loves to forgive those who repent.
