"Mind Your Own Damn Business!!"

“Steve, we’re going to be late.” Bucky groaned as Steve licked up his neck. “I don’t want to smell like arousal when we walk into the boardroom.”

Steve gripped Bucky’s ass, middle finger brushing the omega’s hole through his slacks. “Like that would be such a bad thing.”

“Yes, Steven. It would. Because unlike you, I can’t get fired because I’m screwing my boss.”

Steve pulled away from Bucky’s neck. “Baby, you won’t be fired. I’m the boss.”

“But that doesn’t stop people from talking,” Bucky mumbled. His scent sour as he brushed past Steve to collect the paperwork he originally brought in for the alpha to go through before the meeting. 

“Bucky,” Steve started reaching for his omega. “Who’s talking?”

Bucky brushed him off, “It doesn’t matter. We’re going to be late.”

“Then we’re late. But if there’s someone in this office creating drama I need to know.”

Bucky huffed, “It’s not anyone specific. It’s just I see how everyone looks at me. The single omega who got the coveted PA job for the world’s most sought after CEO alpha.”

“Well, I wouldn’t say the world…

“Steve,” Bucky threw the stack of papers on the desk, “Everyone thinks I’m fucking you because you’re rich! That I’m a gold digger and the only thing I care about are the zeros in your bank account. That I’m making you fuck me so I can be pregnant with your kid and therefore can claim an exorbitant amount of child support.”

Steve walked to his office chair and sat, gesturing to Bucky to sit on his desk in front of him. The omega was breathing heavily after his rant, all worked up.

“Baby,” Steve grabbed Bucky’s hands. “I know that’s not true. I was the one who kept pursuing you.”

“We know that but no one else does!” Bucky’s eyes started to water out of frustration. It wasn’t Steve that he was frustrated at but the other people in the office who thought he seduced the CEO.

Steve stood up and buttoned his suit jacket, “Then I’ll tell them.” He started his way to his office door but Bucky grabbed his arm.

“Steve! What the fuck!” Bucky panicked. 

“You said it yourself, Buck. Everyone thinks you’re the one to have seduced me but that couldn’t be further from the truth. So,” Steve cupped Bucky’s cheek, rubbing his thumb across the cheekbone, “I want to set the record straight.”

“Steve, there’s nothing straight about you.”

“Brat.” Steve chuckled.

Both men looked at each other with a gleam in their eyes. Steve knew Bucky was his person since he never felt this way about someone. His past relationships only saw Steve as a bank. Expensive restaurants, vacations, gifts, anything they wanted. Bucky’s never been like that. His ideal date is a local pizza place and going for a walk in the park which they haven’t been able to do since they kept their relationship a secret. Now though? Steve is hoping Bucky will allow him to take the omega out on all the dates he wants.

“Are you sure about this?” Bucky asked seriously.

“I am, baby. I’ve never felt the way about someone like I do about you.” Steve wanted to utter those three words but this didn’t seem like the right moment. 

“Okay.” Bucky kissed Steve’s cheek. “Go use your boss voice.”

“I do not have a boss voice.”

“You totally do and it’s so hot.”

Steve rolled his eyes and playfully smacked Bucky’s ass before opening his office door and getting everyone’s attention on the floor.

“Hey!!” Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at Steve. “It’s been brought to my attention that there’s been people talking about me and my assistant. That he seduced me and is fucking me because I’m rich. First of all, yes we’re fucking but it’s more than that. Second, I was the one who seduced him. Mr. Barnes turned me down multiple times and I will not tolerate any slander to someone’s character. If you have a problem with us then take your resignation to HR.” 

Bucky stared at the back of Steve’s head in awe. He really put his career on the line for Bucky, an omega he didn’t know until a year ago. Bucky got lucky that Steve isn’t only an amazing boss but an amazing lover. He takes care of Bucky’s needs and makes sure he comes at least once, though Bucky usually comes twice when they’re together.

Bucky was shaken from his thoughts when Steve wrapped an arm around Bucky’s waist and pulled the omega into his side. The alpha smacked a wet kiss on Bucky’s cheek which caused some of the other employees to laugh. Bucky smacked Steve’s chest and pulled away to head back to the desk to grab the paperwork for the meeting.

Steve followed his omega but turned back around to address everyone once more. “And mind your own damn business!!”

A/N: This isn't good and I'm sorry. I'm trying to get out of this writer's block.

“Hello?”

“Hi, this is James. You just texted me that you found my dog?” Bucky paced as he waited for the answer.

“Hi. Yes! I’m Steve.”

“Hi Steve. I’m James but I go by Bucky.”

“Hi Bucky.”

The awkwardness made Bucky start chuckling. “I think we just said some form of hi three times.”

Steve chuckled on the other end of the phone. “I believe we did.”

“Where did you find Pumpkin?” Bucky asked before he said something stupid.

“Pumpkin…pie?” Steve sounded very confused like most people did when Bucky called his dog.

“My dog. Her name is Pumpkin.” 

“Oh…that makes more sense. Pumpkin, that’s you!” A bark on Steve’s end of the line had Bucky smiling. “Yes, I’m talking to your daddy.” Oh the way those words did something to Bucky.

“Where should we meet so I can get Pumpkin?” Bucky asked, chewing on his lip.

“Oh, um,” Steve hummed. “Do you know where Taco ‘Bout A Good Time is?”

“Absolutely!” Bucky squealed. “It’s only my favorite taco shack!” 

Bucky heard Steve gasped, “Mine too!” 

Both men laughed as they finished making plans to meet up at the taco shack. It wasn’t far from Bucky’s house so he made sure he locked the front door and started his walk towards Taco ‘Bout A Good Time. As he got closer, he saw Pumpkin with a skinny blond man who he assumed was Steve. Pumpkin barked as she saw Bucky and started pulling at the leash which was held by Steve.

“Hi baby!” Bucky dropped to his knees as Pumpkin licked all over his face and jumped up on him. Bucky laughed as his dog would jump off, spin around, then jump back up on Bucky.

“Well, it’s nice to know that she loves you and thinks you’re a good parent.” Bucky looked up and his breath caught in his throat at Steve’s sparkling blue eyes.

Bucky got up and sat in the chair across from Steve. “And it’s nice to know you haven’t stolen my dog.”

Steve chuckled, “Not gonna lie, the thought did cross my mind.”

Bucky laughed, “Honestly I don’t blame you.” Silence fell over the two men as they stared at each other with small smiles upon their lips. “Can I buy you tacos for your good deed of the day?”

Steve smiled bigger, “Absolutely.”

There's No Cure for Love — A Stucky Medical AU with doctor Steve + patient Bucky

The hospital is Steve's life. He practically lives here, day in and day out. It's what he does best. Help people. Save people. Try to make a difference in someone else's world even when his own has been slowly crumbling. His Ma's health was declining, though things seemed to have stabilized for now. The entire reason Steve changed specialties all those years ago was because of his Ma's illness. Not because of the organized chaos of the ER, but the reality that an ER doctor like himself could not focus properly while grieving over a dying loved one. And well, there was something to be said about slower-paced work. "I have this patient," Steve tells his mother while nursing a weak vending machine coffee, relaxing in a rocking chair on the porch of the assisted living home. "Bucky."

Bucky hates his life. He hates switching majors. He hates the fact he hasn't kissed another boy. He hates the insanely large mansion he lives in. He hates his family— his mother's heavy involvement in politics, his father's billion-dollar real estate empire. his two out of three sisters for bending over their father's will. He hates everything.

But most importantly, he hates whatever the fuck illness or disease he seems to have been born with. He's gone through countless tests, treatments, and procedures throughout his entire life. Hospitals and clinics are his personal hell. Nurses don't understand. Doctors don't care. He's broken.

"They don’t believe me," Bucky says with a forlorn sigh. "No one ever does."

"I do."

The team getaway was not supposed to get snowed out. Someone forgot to check the weather (did anyone else check? no) and now they were all cramped in a small cabin. Because someone else also booked the wrong thing. All thanks to Clint.

"How was I supposed to know," Clint defended, dragging a suitcase through the thick snow. It popped open suddenly and all the clothes spilled out like a Looney Tune cartoon. "Aw shit. I hope that wasn't mine..." Natasha sighed as Lucky the dog zoomed past. It was hers.

"You could wear some of mine," Steve told Natasha an hour later. His hand grazed her left hip fondly, padding across the bedroom. They called dips first. "In the meantime, I'm gonna go grab more firewood. Tell Buck I'll be back in a half hour." Natasha murmured a quiet, "Always keeping you boys straight." She smiled. "Thanks. I'll pick something out."

Exactly half an hour later, warm clothes acquired, Bucky entered the living area with snow covering his shoulders. "That idiot wanted to pick a fight with a bear," Bucky grumbled, brushing excess snow off of his sweater. Steve walked in behind him right then, cheeks light red.

"I would've had 'em on the ropes."

"Sure, pal. Then we'd all be tending to your wounds. And guess who would have to clean up your blood?"

Natasha smirked from her comfy seat on the sofa. These boys. They were idiots. But they were her idiots.

"Hey, I intervened for a reason. If it wasn't for me you would've—" Bucky's eyes narrowed, lips pursed. "Is that my underwear?"

Beside Natasha, Clint went still. His hand was shoved in a bag of chips, while a doe-eyed Lucky sat and stared at his feet.

"Maybe. Who's asking?"

"Natalia," Bucky said, voice going soft, that velvety tone that makes Natasha shiver. "Did you go through my suitcase?"

Natasha winked.

"Why does it... have a..." Clint trailed off as he gestured with his hand. The one that wasn't covered in cheese dust. "Hole for a dick?"

Oh, the pun. That was terrible. Even for Clint.

Steve's blush darkened when his gaze landed on the detail in question. God, he was cute.

The underwear was rather odd. They were boxer briefs, and while the material wasn't exactly high quality, there was a long 'shieth' supposedly made for a, well, dick to fit inside. Natasha wasn't exactly sure why Bucky owned these but seeing that the team often engaged in pranks and such...

"Uh," Steve coughed falsely. He rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah. Why does it, Buck?"

Bucky poked Steve in the side playfully. "'Cause I received the wrong order, genius."

"Next question," Natasha said, clicking her tongue. "Why did you bring it?" Bucky's lips curled. "To see if it fit."

Clint covered both hands over his ears while Steve continued to blush like a cherry.

So i got accepted into my dream college? And they’re offering me a 21k scholarship that’s renewable for up to 4 years (84k total) It’s a merit scholarship based on my art portfolio and it ranges from 12k-25k so my portfolio was apparently really good to get me a scholarship that high on the scale. So uh yay me. Fun life update.
