A big long post about my "Arthur doesn't go batshot and instead 4KOTA era is just the next Gen kids finding their way in the world and maybe other stuff happens too featuring OCs" AU but I probably update this every once in awhile with more ideas

Arthur and Leoma rebuild Camelot instead of all the Chaos realm shit. They spend a decent amount of time dancing around the feelings that developed between them during the Holy War, but eventually are made to address things.

Leoma and Arthur hold off on getting married until after Camelot is back to strength to be sufficient at caring for its people, but their wedding is a big event attended by every person in Camelot and nobles and royalty of many surrounding kingdoms.

They, along with the newly crowned Royal couples of Benwick, Liones and the Fairy King's Forest, work together to build a new road system between their kingdoms and encourage trade and new towns to be made along these roads. The Giants help create a new way through the mountains separating Camelot from the rest of Britannia. The first thing to be sent along these new roads are letters from each Royal couple to the others and are delivered in record time for Britannia, ushering in a new Era of Trade and Commerence between the four kingdoms and their allies.

Merlin uses her magic to allow the four Kingdoms noble councils to talk to each other, allowing the four kingdoms to develop and flourish together.

Diane, Elaine, Elizabeth and Leoma all continue to attend royal meetings during and after their pregnancies, which means their first borns all spend much of their earliest days babbling at each other through the magical mirrors while their parents work.

When things settle at least a little bit, the Queens of the Kingdoms start meeting up and bringing their kids to get to know each other.

I want to make siblings for Lancelot and Tristan, the fact they somehow both wound up only children when their dads are uber doting and in love and maybe a little pervert Ban and Meliodas baffles me so I’m gonna mess with that another time.

But the kids all get to hangout and spend a lot of time together and Merlin likes to go as just extra eyes cause the number of kids gets bigger and bigger very quickly side eye Kiane The Dads all very much WISH AND BEG to come with but are usually working. Meliodas brags when he gets to go instead after Tristan gets old enough to not need to be nursed, he is SUPER DAD and Merlin tells Elizabeth he’s making the kids so rambunctious, please don’t let him do this all the time. They Tag out back and forth on who goes with Tristan just to save everyone else’s sanity, the kids get so riled up with Meliodas.

I have a vision of like… maybe 6-year old Lance Gwen and Tristan getting kidnapped on one of the outings and the absolute CARNAGE the parents would cause excites me every time i think about it, i need to write that one shot.

I don't have a bad guy in mind but I'm sure I'll figure something out. And if you have ideas I'd love to hear them

Anyhow, they're all chaotic little shits who adore their Aunts and Uncles and start bouncing back and forth between the kingdoms to hang out with each other. Gwen Tristan and Lance are the worst because they just sneak out and fly all around Britannia to hang out. They can never get Nasiens to join them cause he's trying to be responsible or something and because I love him Myrtle still winds up part of the Kiane family and he's even more of a stickler about rules even though the trio can occasionally drag him out to spar and goof off. Sixtus 100% will run with them if given the chance but he also sometimes just wants to do his own shit and Gwen’s little brother Ahmar and him are insufferably chaotic. They're awful in their own rights.

How are Tristan and Gwen like together??

They’re like…. They’re so in sync it’s scary. They’ve spent pretty much every day together since Leoma brought Gwen to Liones when she was 10. They almost read each other’s minds talking. People joke they’re almost the same person with how they act. When Lance was gone, they helped hold each other together when they felt like falling apart. He helped her through her worst moments of getting used to the world of Britannia after living her life in Camelot for so long. She helped him steady himself when he got too in his own head about his powers. They’re casually affectionate like no one else in the group. He helps her with fancy outfits for special occasions, she knows every way to cheer him up, they’d be inseparable if it weren’t for the fact that he had actual “princely duties” to attend to. Not that she doesnt follow him to those anyways, but they’re just!!!! One does not go without the other!!! She feels out of sorts if she does stuff without him and he worries when she’s not around.

I was talking to my comrade I have a standing call with and they were saying they don’t even consider themself a leftist anymore because leftist are as much into eugenics as a liberal or conservative when it comes to redistributing harm to vulnerable populations in order to keep their causes moving and I agree. I think I���m beyond leftism, beyond these labels that have more theory than practice, more rules than plans of action. And like I said before I appreciate the stripping away of all the things that I’m not as they bring me closer to what’s meant for me. Now is the time to find the people and orgs and I/we will.

biden's desperation in banning tiktok makes the entire thing more concerning to me than if it were something on the backburner everyone knew would never go anywhere.

he tied it with aid to israel to guarantee the bill made it through the senate. amidst all that is happening, banning fucking tiktok is a serious priority to him, which makes me inclined to believe there's a lot worse coming regarding censorship than currently known to the public--the bill before this one would've allowed the US government to ban social media with no other reason than "we think it's connected to xyz", no evidence presented. it wasn't exclusive to china either, it involved every US adversary, a list of countries which could be expanded whenever the government wanted. the bill failed to pass but it was backed by many including biden.

Thinking about…. in the Rewrite where Arthur and Leoma rebuild Camelot. And the kids are all friends and hang out and shit.

It’d be so funny for Lance to catch feelings for both his best friends who seem none the wiser. He gets “almost jealous” when they’re being all affectionate and hug on each other and he doesn’t know why. Other people act weird around them and he gets almost territorial kinds of mean. He starts feeling weird about calling their parents Aunt and Uncle.

Ban has to sit him down and ask what’s going on and he doesn’t really know why he’s acting like this but Ban clocks him almost immediately after Lance starts talking and tells him a story of a couple who both fell in love with a merchant, ending with “And last I heard, they got three kids or so.” Before giving him a “People experience stuff differently and that’s okay, but go fuckin talk with your dumbass friends about it before you convince yourself something’s bad about this.”

And then instead of talking about it, he gets dragged with the whole group to a bar and they all get drunk and giggly and doofy and while he’s half dead sitting between them, he gets dopey and smiley about it as they talk over his head.

And then he wakes up and the three of them have somehow made it to a room in the castle and they all just crashed right in, not a one even under a blanket but tangled in each other’s arms. And when they wake up, they talk half asleep and hungover and still giggly and he drops his feelings right there and then before he can even register the warm feeling in his face.

And the two of them look surprised before Gwen blurts out excitedly that she and Tristan had been talking about how they both liked him and had been debating how to talk about it, but this fixes the whole conversation! And Tristan is stumbling over his words, flustered and Gwen is draped across both their laps, giggly and wiggling and Lance feels silly knowing that he probably couldn’t love them more than this stupid moment.

And then Gwen says she’d been trying to tell Tristan she kinda liked him too and they should just all date, that’d be the best solution to this whole conversation after all, and Tristan blurts he’d been thinking the same but he felt weird saying it.

And Lance laughs and hugs Tristan, burying his face in the other boy’s shoulder, too hungover to give any more of a damn.

The verbal “So we’re dating now” agreement is shared but Lance decides it needs a kiss to be sure and kisses Tristan before grinning at the flabbergasted and flushed face he gets in return before Gwen throws her arms around them both and gives Lance a kiss he laughs about. And then she leans over and kisses Tristan who’s so flustered he falls back on the bed and covers his face with a pillow.

And then Meliodas finds them all draped over each other, Lance messing with Gwen’s hair while she’s messing with Tristan’s hair who’s still buried face first into a pillow to smother his burning face.

Thinking about How Tristan uses wings to fly and Lancelot can become a fairy but Gwen didn't luck into getting her mom's summon wings, so instead she uses her summon swords like skateboards and Lancelot thinks that's cooler so he does the cat thing of showing clear interest by pretending he's not interested in it and Gwen just automatically summons a sword for him him everytime and he pretends he's not totally psyched to look cool like that but sometimes they race around with their own flying methods and Gwen does tricks like leap-of-faith type shit out of How To Train Your Dragon and I was 100% listening to We Go Where No One Goes when I thought of this and the three of them are just insufferably silly sometimes and I love them they're so linked together in my head I have so my thoughts and ideas I wanna ramble about but I can't type fast enough to get enough out
