I'm so happy to hear my translations have been able to help you! I definitely have Caliburn on my list, and he's moved up for me personally (along with Prytwen). I keep getting his event versions in random gacha, so he clearly likes me. I will be translating him soon :) Million I haven't given much attention, but I know I now have enough shards to exchange for enough copies to do both Secret Stories, so I can move him up too! Anyone still playing Yume100?

Hello everyone! It's been... geez, like a year? That's insane. I can't believe I stepped away from this game for so long. I ended up getting really into Love and Deepspace and that actually pushed me to get back to Yume100. I've missed a bit, but it feels good to be back at it!

That all said, I'm going to get back to translating! And hopefully checking tumblr again... In fact, I just finished uploading all of Chapter 10 of the Main Story Part 1. I'm using AI to help me with the data formatting for the webpages (and some of the translating, I'll be honest) which is making things go a lot faster. I'm hoping to get the data for the other Main Story parts going too. And in the meantime, I've started translating vanilla Navi since he's so important to Chapter 10 of the Main Story. I live! And so does Rufus! I've been wanting to translate this hot mess of a guy for a while and I finally finished. There were definitely some words and phrases that were tricky for me to translate as I'd never come across them before, and I tried to properly convey Rufus' attitude while I translated. Also, I fully 100% agree that this man is a sexy designation in the game.

Be warned that in Moon Route, he really lets the madness take over a bit and threatens to force himself on the protagonist. Nothing bad happens, but just a warning. I wasn't sure if that needed a trigger warning in the story; I'm not sure what it would be. Feel free to suggest if it needs a certain warning and I'll add it to my website :)

Yume100 Transfer Annoucement

Hello everyone! As many people already know, Yume100 recently transferred to MyNet for management. This has caused some concern over the future of the game. To help with that (at least for now) I attempted to translate the comments and announcement made by the producers for Yum100 as well as the MyNet team. Will the wiki prioritize archiving the home screen voice clips now that the MyNet news is making people feel uneasy about y100's future? I know it might be a lot of work since the wiki staff downsized and stopped updating as much content as before on the prince pages but it would mean a lot to me and maybe other fans to have the missing audios added before they are gone forever.

Good question! Yes, that news has made many of us uneasy. As I'm not the one who accesses audio files, I'm not sure. But I will double-check with the file person to see if that's feasible. I know there was a reason we stopped updating audio for quotes, but I'm not sure what it was. I'll see what I can find out!

We haven't so much downsized staff as it has become only me uploading/updating anything, with one other staff providing me with the images. That's the entirety of the active staff right now 😅

Donate $1-5 - Just to show you have been enjoying my translations over the last 5 years. You can also request a specific Memory Piece to get translated in the next batch at this level.

Donate $10 - I'll bump up one original prince in my translation list! It can be any original version and I'll work to get them done within a month of your donation. This does not include collab characters. While I have at least 1 copy of almost every prince, please be aware there may be times I can't unlock the Secret Stories for 5-star princes. You may provide screenshots of these if you have them, or I can ask other players, but there's no guarantee.

Donate $15 - I'll translate an event version prince or a collab prince of your choice and try to get him done within a month of your donation. You may be asked to provide a screenshot of the log, especially if the prince is gacha/collab as I may be unable to access the story otherwise.

Donate $20 - I'll translate any other Yume100 content outside of the prince stories and Main Story. This includes event story summaries, voice lines on the wiki, comics, content from fan books, etc. I cannot translate music/CDs unless you can provide a transcript of the content. Light Novels are also not included in this category due to their complexity.

Donate $25 - I'll translate a NON-YUME100 piece of content for you! As Yume100 is pretty much the only thing I've translated in the past, ideally this would be content from another game, doujin, comic, or something similar. You will need to provide screenshots of the content. Please do not request Drama CD content unless you can provide a transcript.

FAQ

Will you translate smut?

-Heck yes I will! But I reserve the right to refuse translating anything that falls into the iffy side of legality.

These prices seem low/high

-Most free-lance translators offer pricing by the word. Since I'm not a trained translator and I've pretty much only ever done Yume100, I don't charge those prices. I'm just trying to pull in a little extra cash doing something I love :)

Why are comics more money to translate when they are shorter than a full story?

-If you request a comic translation, I will also type set it and clean up the scan for you so it'll look like a proper translation!

Why won't you translate Light Novels?

-I'm working up to light novels. There is a lot more content and a lot more involved in those translations, so for the time being I cannot accept light novel translation requests.

Why won't you translate music/drama CDs?

-Unfortunately I'm just not skilled enough to be able to translate purely off of what I hear. I still use dictionaries and OCR software, so I need to be able to see those kanji to get an accurate translation.

I hadn’t actually intended to get Nero done so fast... but dang, I did it in two days! I just got very invested in his story and couldn’t stop. It’s not exactly a happy story, and the backstory for Circo is... rough. What is it with the Cute attribute characters have so much trauma? Geez... But it’s definitely one of the better prince stories in my opinion for its complexity.

Geez, finally got Yanagi done! I really struggled with his story in some parts, just because he used a lot of phrases that I hadn’t encountered before, so it took a little longer for me to understand the meaning and then translate it into something that made sense in English. Overall I liked his story, more than I thought I would. His character is more interesting than I expected. He’s not in my top tier list, and I won’t be throwing for the gacha any time soon, but I definitely at least enjoyed the read! Plus he’s a pretty bunny boy :D

Next up is going to be Makoto. He wasn’t quite next in line, but I need to compile some resources for the other ones that are higher in the request list. Makoto is all online already though so he should be quicker. Plus I am just really curious as to what the story is with our cute little psychopath.

I feel very accomplished having gotten all of the episodes translated and subtitled! I don’t know what spurred me to suddenly do them, but after doing the first episode, I realized all my work on translating prince stories had increased my comprehension skills quite a bit since I did episode 8, which was my first attempt. I’ve also been actively paying more attention to how professional companies format their subtitles, so I think that helped speed things along as I had a better idea of what I was doing.
