When I was a child my mother always told me that mushrooms appear after the faeries danced there at night. If you listen carefully you can hear them playing music.  Two months ago I was in the woods looking for mushrooms to photograph and in the distance I could hear a faint music coming from deeper within the trees. I followed the sound until I could make it out better. It was a mariachi band.

I dream of the day I have property and could put one of these up. I once saw one online painted with particularly stunning mushrooms.

This is just showing the process of how I made the mushroom pins. I 3D resin printed the mushrooms and glued them into some bottle caps I found all over the city. I then spray painted them white and added in the black- in retrospect I wish I had painted the caps black and then added the primed mushrooms, buts they’re so small Im not sure if that would have worked anyway. I then painted each mushroom, added moss (not shown), added the exterior paint and added the pin backs.
