Inspiration struck me again! (And here I thought after 10k+ words and two fics worth of Weiliang smut I'd hit burnout… turns out I was wrong!)

Suggestive text below the cut about various pairings, 3 fic ideas/current WIPs (I'm not sure when I'll finish these, but I'm holding myself accountable with this list!)

The Xuanliang first time fic

I think Zhuge Liang and Liu Bei would make love in all kinds of different ways, but for some reason, I have a very clear and oddly specific vision of their "first time" (especially after watching the 1994 rot3k). Ever since then, I've been hinting at it, trying to share my vision of how Zhuge Liang would behave in bed (how he would take on a confident, assertive role despite being on the... receiving end) And now, I've finally gathered the motivation to sit down and write it out in a fic! 🤩

fem! Xuanliang reunion sex feat. jealous and needy Zhuge Liang

This takes place sometime after Liu Bei's return from her arranged marriage in Wu. Zhuge Liang is happy to see her, but Liu Bei senses her sadness beneath the surface and perhaps even jealousy. And Liu Bei is determined to do whatever it takes to make up for it! :) (yes this one's yet another pillow princess! Zhuge Liang fic 😅) @zhoudadudugongjin I'm really tempted by your idea of Liu Bei NOT being another woman in disguise in the fem! san guo AU. In terms of technicalities, this fic would actually allow me to explore that, but I'll see… 👀 I just wanted to let you know that YOU GOT ME THINKING with your suggestion! 😏

The dubcon Zhouliang one...

In which, after Zhuge Liang summons the eastern wind, Zhou Yu, instead of ordering Lü Meng to kill him, changes his mind and commands him to capture him alive. He succeeds and he now has a tied-up Zhuge Liang in his custody :) Zhuge Liang isn't even worried about his life because he knows that if Zhou Yu had plans to kill him, he would have done so already, but he plays along, begging: "Noo, please don't kill me, I can prove I'm still useful to you in *other* ways!" ;)) And he convinces Zhou Yu that keeping him alive as a bedwarmer would be more beneficial than getting rid of him. (Despite Zhuge Liang, in a twisted way, "willingly" being in this situation, this still involves some dubiously consensual scenes, humiliation, roughness... so heads up for that) @happyendhouse also inspired me with some very spicy art, in case you want some visuals ;)

Jiang Wei still seeks out Zhuge Liang's company, after that night. However, as she gets to know her Prime Minister's heart better, she will discover things that she had not anticipated. (Takes place at the end of Zhuge Liang's fourth northern expedition, when she is left with no choice but to retreat.)

After some back and forth in my head, I have decided to publish this as a separate work rather than a new chapter. I figured some readers might prefer to leave things on a more (bitter)sweet note and stick with just the first part...

Not sure if the pun goes over quite as well in English, but there is a hilarious connection between my two blorbos Zhuge Liang and Zhang Juzheng:

As y’all know, Zhuge Liang was also known as 卧龙 Wo Long, “the sleeping dragon.”

Zhang Juzheng was rumored to have had an affair with the empress dowager (other versions of the tale simply accuse him of sleeping around the emperor’s private quarters) so his haters gave him a rather long epithet: 黑心宰相卧龙床, “the black-hearted chancellor sleeps in the dragon bed (the emperor’s bed).”

anyhow, I find this coincidental overlap hilarious 🤣
