Health

Going down the drain. Great start into the new year. Had blood tests to confirm I’m still OK for my thyroid meds and found out I now have high cholesterol 😒 Just one more of the many things I did not have a year ago. Not surprised. Weekend update

My dad sounded a bit more like himself today, at least more coherent than yesterday. No oxygen needed, no fever or cough, which is all good, fingers x it continues looking like a milder case, Will take longer though for his older body with all his preconditions to get through this. Covid wards are not places where you manage to talk to doctors much, especially from a distance, but i get a sense…

Dad update

Spoke to him, he’s conscious and sounding better than he did yesterday morning. No fever or cough (he didn’t have one which is why it looked like a diabetic crises at first), lungs took a knock but he’s not on oxygen at present, better saturation than last night when he did need it. He’s knackered because of age plus underlying heart issues and diabetes. So far stable, fingers crossed we sit and…
