Today is #worldmentalhealthday 02/04/21 is the day my world at the time exploded. I constantly had a mental & emotional abuse struggle that was unaddressed at the time. That night I fought for my life mentally & I fought just to exist. Everything in my mind kept telling me “it’s not worth it”, “no one will understand”, “no one will truly love you”, so on & so on. I went to a very very dark place. One of my best friends stayed on the phone with me that night so I stayed distracted. Second picture is post anxiety attack. Third picture is a bit of the torment mentally. It took months for me to realize I really needed to try to get my anxiety & depression under control. Now I’m on month 18 of active recovery for the struggle. The last picture of this post is from Sunday where I have a light in my eyes & smile on my face. The lies I believed of no one will love me God answered above anything I could have ever asked for. 12 years ago #braincancer took my mom. Every day I miss her. Now 12 years later I’m to the point at times I forget what her voice sounded like. I’m told every day I’m her twin & I see it more & more. A lot has happened over those 12 years some good & a lot of bad.
