So I was listening to the soundtrack of Sirens of the deep and I suddenly realized that

JASKIER HAS HIS OWN THEME BGM

and I’m so happy that not only Jaskier got his scene A LOT in this movie but also has his fucking theme song!!🥹🥹

I didn’t know this when I just watched the movie alone several times, but when I listened to the soundtrack and compared which music appeared in which scene, I was sure of this.

I know it’s a bit outdated for discussing this since it’s been 4 months after the movie came out but I have to talk about this to anyone and everyone so here we go-

It appears from the very first soundtrack

: Allamorax Attack 0:20-0:56

The movie started with the scene that Jaskeir and Geralt traveling alongside a coast together. (I like the fact that the movie starts and ends with them casually traveling together.) And Jaskier’s theme played along that scene until the Allamorax attacks.

And they have a soundtrack named after him

: Julian

Honestly I don’t even know how I haven’t realized this sooner since there’s literally his fucking name on it😂

You can hear the exact melody in this song at 0:40-0:53 part if you’re not sure how that melody goes.

*huge spoiler below*

And then the king commands

: Make Them Walk the Plank 3:49-4:15

Jaskier’s theme appears again when Jaskier and Zelest are fighting against soldiers with their back to back.

And the most horrific thing in the movie happened..

: I Like Our Odds 2:07-2:19

After Zelest died by the sea witch, and while Geralt fights with vodniks, Jaskier, shocked and angered by Zelest’s death, picks up Zelest’s sword with a determined look on his face.

And that’s where the theme plays. But the sound was so low that I almost couldn’t hear it. It was hard to figure out the matching scene.🥲

Actually this is the moment I confirmed my theme song theory. It was only Jaskier on the screen in that scene and that melody matched with the soundtrack Julian’s.

And there’s the last soundtrack

: Where To Next

We all know there’s Geralt’s theme in the netflix series and it appears in this movie too.

So, this is an ending credit song and it begins with Jaskier’s theme with the scene that Jaskier and Geralt discussing their next destination. And then, as they marching towards their next adventure, it fucking transferred into Geralt’s theme!!

It never fails to thrill me🤩

When I hear Jaskier’s theme, I can see their casual daily traveling. Walking side by side, Geralt on top of roach, Jaskier talking or strumming his lute with light humming, occasional stupid joking…adorable

And when I hear Geralt’ theme, I imagine them in more dangerous and intense situations like Geralt fighting monsters or heroically saves Jaskier from danger…sexy

And I like that comparison of the two of them and how WELL they blended in this soundtrack.

Well that’s all I wanted to say..I hope everyone knows about this.🥹 Oh and I have to add-
