Broken (part 1)

The rumours had been going around for months. Harry could hardly go to work, without being bombarded with questions left and right. 'Is it true that your marriage with Y/N was arranged?' 'Is your marriage a publicity stunt?' 'Is she using you?' Harry saw this coming. Hell, everyone involved saw this coming. His relationship with Y/N was a huge slap across the face for the whole world. She came out of nowhere, with no warning. One day, the world didn't know of her existence, and the next thing you know she is front cover on every magazine with the title of 'Mrs Styles' across it. Y/N had insisted on keeping their relationship a secret, as she thought this would be less damaging for Harry (and her). She didn't want the media to find something to torture him with. He was quite vulnerable when it came to love. However, as soon as Y/N graduated, Harry got down on one knees and asked her hand for marriage. Y/N obviously agreed to the proposal, without a second to spare. Harry was happy, Y/N was happy, their family was happy. And nothing but the happiness of people around them mattered to them, on their wedding day. But when the word got out about the newly wedded couple, everything started to tremble. Rumours spread left and right, each one more obscure then the previous one. But the one that seemed to keep popping up again and again, was the fact that Y/N was using Harry for his wealth. Now, Harry didn't want to believe this. But a number of factors forced him to do so. With articles, showing pictures of Y/N before and after marrying him; the change of clothes , accessories and choice for dinning; caused him to wonder why Y/N had agreed to marry him after dating him for 11 short months. Was that time enough for her to fall in love? It certainly was for Harry, but all he required from her was her love. Sliding the numerous magazines across his table, Harry got up and slammed his hand against the wall, to let some of his frustration out. He walked out of his study area, to the bedroom he shared with Y/N. Of course they shared the room, they were married for goodness sake. Harry slammed the door open. "Harry?" Y/N questioned, looking up from her laptop (which he bought with his hard earned money) "You okay m'puppet?" "I'm fine" Harry shouted sarcastically. "Just reading through magazines and seeing how my wife is with me only for my money" he threw the magazines towards Y/N Y/N picked up the magazines looking at its content with a confused expression. "Harry this isn-" "You know what Y/N? I actually think they are telling the truth!" Harry interrupted her "I mean look at you now! You are wearing branded clothes, sleeping in a luxurious house, Fuck!" Harry screamed frustrated punching the wall beside him with force. Throughout that, Y/N was trying to hold in her tears and let his words crush her. “ I think you should leave" Harry whispered "Take your stuff and leave" He turned around and left the room. Y/N stiffly nodded,not daring to speak as she feared she might just break down right then and there. Looking around their shared room, she realised that nothing truly belonged to her. When she married Harry, he had bought everything for her and refused to let her bring anything of her own. Wanting them to start a new chapter as husband and wife. A sobbed escaped her bleeding lip, from when she bit it hard to prevent herself from falling apart in front of Harry. She quickly grabbed a pen and paper and wrote down a note to Harry. She knew that things between them would never be the same and that this might just be the end for them. She left her phone, car keys (both of which harry bought) and the note on Harry's side of the bed. She changed her clothes and grabbed a coat from their closet and made her way out of the room. Looking one final time, before leaving her only home; Harry. Let me m kw if you would like part 2 😊
