I plan on being active here As soon as all is set up! I want to make a post about how i view ganondorf as different from demise, but the two sort of share a consciousness of life and decisions- not unlike the dark urge in bg3. This stems from my interpretation of ganon from wind waker vs twilight princess, and how he eventually gives up reincarnation entirely. Imo, at that point, he gave up control to the demon king. He was tired of the constant recycling and broke it off.
As for the retcon of OoT in tok, nah. I hate any media (looking at you wotc) where the cop-out is being “born evil”.

#hatecrowned an independent and private writing blog for ganondorf, the king of thieves. based on various reincarnations throughout the game's lore with a focus on ocarina of time, windwaker, twilight princess and some of breath of the wild.
'' My country lay within a vast desert. When the sun rose into the sky, a burning wind punished my lands, searing the world. No matter when it came, the wind carried the same thing... Death.
features a personal interpretation of his connection to demise / does not agree with being 'born evil'. heavy themes regarding death, rebirth, vengence, and xenophobia will be discussed here. read rules below the cut before interacting. art credit.
first. this is an independent and fandomless roleplay blog for ganondorf dragmire of the legend of zelda series. it’s very headcanon-heavy if not solely based on that, along with personal lore and some bits of real-life folklore taken for inspiration. i primarily write in ties with games like wind waker, ocarina of time and breath of the wild.
second. i am mutually exclusive, meaning that i will not write with anyone who i do not follow back. this is just to keep things simple and easy for me to navigate. if i do follow you back, the best way to interact with me is via ask prompts, as answered prompts are easily turned into threads.
third. i am resistant to use any immediate symbols or ties (as we see in ocarina of time v1.0) to islam or the middle east to represent the gerudo, as ganondorf is seen as a king of evil attacking a foreign nation, as well as the stereotype of a leader of thieves. islamophobia has absolutely no place here, and most of the inspiration i take for gerudo culture will be coming from breath of the wild and windwaker, not ocarina of time.
fourth. i have no interest in interacting with people who support homophobia, transphobia, racism, ableism or islamophobia. fascists or pro-trump supporters are also not welcome here.
five. i will not write out ships like zelgan or ganlink. the age gap + power dynamic is way out of balance, and they are almost always children when he meets them as an adult himself. i am open to shipping him if the chemistry presents itself, but it will not be in that manner. sorry!
