heyo. deleted the vent from a few days ago. gonna take a break from here for a bit. my mental health admittedly hasn't been great since i moved to a new place with very minimal walkability about 6 months ago; i haven't really been able to go many places without shilling out money to be driven so i'm kinda stuck in the apartment all the time. the stuff i have to deal with vis a vis my tlou art kinda piled in with all that and made me blow my top. tlou fanart was a huge creative outlet and safe space for me and suddenly it just became Not that.

i still like tlou, i still like writing and drawing fan content for it and i may doing that for a long while still to come. i like sharing it with people who are also kinda in it for the long haul! i just don't like the whole rigamarole of being a Content Creator, most of all for a fandom. i don't like being demanded for "content", or pestered, or sucked up to, i'm legit just some lesbo. the hate i get on butch posts was gonna come no matter what but being treated that way by the people who actually like my work? that sucks!

like i said, i'll still be drawing but stuff may be a little more confined to my patreon(s) just for a little while, i don't know. i'm not really leaving here, i just won't yknow. be as online. just till it feels comfortable again.

This scene always gives me goosebumps. The way Ellie places her hand over the bitemark on her arm when she sees the Firefly emblem, probably having flashbacks of everything: Riley, her journey with Joel, the people they've killed, Tess, Henry and Sam, almost getting r*ped, waking up in a car, and realizing her life is not worth that much after all.

Or the way Joel comes closer to her and hides the letter 'S' with his body, and the sign suddenly says "LIAR", hinting at the fact that he still hasn't told Ellie the truth.

it may seem like i've quit my own character challenge after just one drawing HOWEVER this is not the case. literally the second draw was ellie and apparently i forgot how to draw this fucker

@ladygrit and i made a tlou character challenge to draw characters other than our blorbos, but others are totally free to also take part!

you can use a random number generator OR just draw in the order given, your choice! there are 0 stakes here. i plan on challenging myself by doing full-bodies or making them more illustrative.
