My name is Amy. I'm a Montreal-based free-lance writer and I write this blog in my spare time. I regularly post monthly capsule reviews of obscure albums by obscure bands and I irregularly post long-form interviews with obscure bands. I like obscure bands because it makes me feel like I'm in on a secret. There are NO HYPERLINKS on this blog because I hate them. If you like a band I've reviewed, Google will help you find them easily enough. Submit music (albums or EPs only, I don't do single songs) via link directly to this blog. I like reverb, drum machines, lo-fi production, vocal harmonies, and distorted bass guitar. My favourite band is Joy Division, but that doesn't mean I'll like your band if you're trying to sound like them. If I like your band I'll write about them glowingly. If I dislike your band I won't write anything because my mother taught me not to say anything at all if I can't say something nice.
