Mem. Mostly reblogs, entirely chaotic. Icon by @elirium. Primarly Batman/DC comics blog currently. Periodically goes through and blocks blank blogs. Changing your icon and blog title is quick and easy. Occasionally writes. You can theoretically find writing stuff under #havendance writes or #my fic, but tumblr sucks so who knows. Look, just check out my ao3, it's the same as my url.

cleaned up the sketch, slapped some colors, and made it a party!
(also, thank you to everybody who have been enjoying and reblogging my obscure dwj book posts lately! It's always a treat to read your tags and comments and know that you're just as insane about her books as I am haha)

The book is The Weaver and the Witch Queen by Genevieve Gornichec btw. I’m about 20% of the way in and am enjoying it so far.
As someone who is a fan of comics continuity, I should really get more into historical fiction because I've worked my way through a third of a saga so far, but I also picked up this audiobook set in medieval Norway and have been listening to it and it's been exciting because people I know from the saga keep showing up. This guy introduces himself as Skaldgrimson and I'm like 'I know your dad!' I love recognizing background characters in comics and now I get to do it in my prose books too :)

I read the book, I meet Thorolf Skallagrimson and I’m like I know your dad! I read the saga and my girl Gunnhild gets mentioned! Truely a great time for me :)

been listening to the knuckles raps from sa2 while pretending to not know the music is from a video game and i highly recommend the experience. really good from the perspective of a normal rapper who talks about ghosts trying to kill him and his ability to telepathically detect gemstones in the earth

Just got accosted by some mysterious masked swordsman with custom battle music. I thought I was doing okay against him until he said something like "enough of this tomfoolery" and did some nonsense sword attack that reduced me to 1 hit point. Then he just left being all "we shall meet again my little dove" or whatever.
I hate my life.
