So, you wanna play SBURB/SGRUB?

So, I started helping my friend create a fantroll fan-session RP and I offered to write an SGRUB/SBURB guide, in order to make sure that everyone who eventually joined would understand how the game works; and since I haven't actually seen a guide for it before? If they're out there, I couldn't find them.

Anyway! I'm submitting this because I thought it might be useful to anyone else creating a fansession, or just anyone who wants to have a better understanding of the game. I've tried to cover every aspect possible and I hope it helps someone!

Do you have anything on alchemy? I know there are two kinds of combining things and the punched cards can make new items, but that’s pretty much all I got right now.

Basically the Alchemiter is used in both forms of alchemy.

You have the first type: which is used to create the Cruxite Artifact that allows you to enter the medium. The second type is then used to combine items together!

First of all you’re going to have to captchalogue an item and have a Punch Designix around. There’s a code on the back of the captchalogue’d item, and then you need a blank card. You slot the blank card into the Punch Designix and enter the code to get a punched card.

From there you take it to the Totem Lathe, and slot a cruxite dowel into it (the cruxite dowel comes from the Cruxtruder) and add a punched card. You’re gonna get a wonky looking cruxite dowel but it’s okay! You’re gonna have to run to your Alchemiter and put that cruxite dowel onto it, which then transforms it into your Cruxite Artifact.

If you want to combine items to get upgrades and such, then you just get two cards and combine their holes, stick another cruxite dowel in the Totem Lathe — then take that back to the Alchemiter and it will make your object!

It gets a little more complicated with && and || combining.

&& (AND) combining is when you get two cards and line them up so you can see where the holes are, and punch every hole where the two line up.

|| (OR) combining is when you get two cards, line them up and then just punch everywhere you see a hole.

anything combined in the && method means the produced item will have qualities of the two items that where used to make the card.

while the || method means the produced item will take the form of one item and the quality of the other.
