Eran Deckard/Guiding Light: How failure to say no led to tragedy.

Date of birth: 08/12/1966

Date of death: 07/18/1990

Ah, the glorious guide of lost souls, whose image cannot do without blue moonlight and one of the few entities that does not want to tear you apart. This is him, the Guiding Light.

But is it really that simple? Why is it his soul that accompanies those who wander into the hotel? Why is he forced to watch people die? What did he do to deserve this?

Let's start from the beginning, from the very beginning, but where does any personality begin? In the family..

This is where his main business lies: Eran Deckard is a direct descendant of the family with which the whole nightmare began. Little Blue Light is the great-grandson of the hotel founder... well, there were never any problems with money.

I can’t say that Eran was a spoiled child...he was deprived of parental attention most of his life, and he was probably the only one among his brothers and sisters who understood that this was not very normal...but he didn’t demand more than he received.

But okay, we're getting off topic. As we know, his family had a reputation for being almost cartoonishly evil rich, but despite all their sins, the family's entire business was very successful.

As a result of the struggle for inheritance, the hotel went to Eran's older brother, but the guy himself was hired as a manager, despite the fact that he was only 22 and was also studying at the same time.

Despite his managerial position, Eran did not particularly enjoy working at the hotel. His brother's actions always made him feel like he was part of some kind of criminal scheme. And he couldn’t say that he had the personal qualities to manage people.

But he could not say anything against it.

So a one year passed, the second... Eran, despite the fact that he did not like his job, made friends with his employees and, in principle, built trusting relationships with the team.

But this trust collapsed. Because of one incident...

On the night from ■■■■■ to ■■■■■, a search team for employee ■■■■■ showed up at the hotel. The operation was classified as strictly confidential. But they got three witnesses. To avoid problems they had to be eliminated.

Eran was forced to do this by force.

Three employees were killed... and Eran, due to his status and a bribe from his brother, was released from responsibility, it’s true... after that he himself died from the inside from torment of conscience...

In the end, retribution came to him.

The soul of a deceased employee, Rosarine Grinne, was reborn as a monster, whom we now call “Rush”... but more about him a little later.

The guy only needed a couple of shots to take Eran’s life.. Despite what he had done, Deckard was reincarnated into the light, which to this day leads people out of the cursed place.

P.S:

Do not think that Rush and Guiding have a bad relationship. This is wrong.

The fact is that souls that have just received a new appearance are easy to manipulate, so the situations of these two are similar. After figuring out what really happened, these two apologized to each other for what happened and now maintain neutrality, even leaning in a positive direction.

Jeff Harris / Who will win, a crowd of security guards, or an octopus with a lighter?

Jeff Harris, now known as just Jeff, was initially nothing special. The boy lived a calm life, went to school, kicked a ball around the yard, dreamed of many things and, in principle, did everything that normal children of his age do.

Everything was fine until, as everyone always says, something went wrong...

True..we can tell something went wrong from the very beginning.

Jeff's parents had a friend, a woman named Lilia Delvire. The woman seemed completely ordinary; Jeff himself and his family trusted her. Well, actually she was ordinary until she got a job in the ZX laboratory..

In general, Lilia got a job there because of threats from Headcliffe... let’s skip the details of what happened to them later, it will be told in a post about Delvire herself. The fact remains that, on the orders of her boss, she kidnapped 14-year-old Jeff and began experimenting on him.

For two years, exactly two years, the guy was kept in the laboratory, and he would have stuck there if not for one thing:

The fact is that through brain surgery, the guy’s intelligence was increased many times, plus he was already good at planning.

For two years, the guy, taking into account all the risks, developed an escape plan, plus several plans in case something went wrong.

And now that day comes...

After about 30 minutes of active resistance, the guards manage to drive Jeff into a corner. It would seem that there was nothing to do... but he also took this into account. Even before the brawl started, cylinders with flammable gas and many other flammable chemicals were opened, so, closing his eyes, the guy threw a lighter into the crowd..

I don’t think it’s worth explaining what happened further. Despite the fact that the laboratory was destroyed by the explosion, Jeff and ■■■■■■, as well as ■■■■■ survived.

Despite this, the latter refused help and her further fate is unknown to us. Jeff was seriously injured, but during his wanderings he found kind people who provided him with proper medical care.

And so, after some time, the guy came across a hotel, where he lives to this day, selling everything...

Interesting facts:

1. Together with Jeff, Bob escaped from the laboratory (More about this will be in the post about the skeleton itself)

2. Jeff can count all the coins he has and convert this number into the desired currency in 5-7 minutes

3. Jeff suffers from epilepsy

•That’s why if it turns out that Rush or Ambush will have to fly through the store, they warn him in advance.

4. Jeff trades not only with people, but also with entities.

5. He sells without a license...and illegal goods too.

6. He mostly found suppliers when he was on the run.

7. Behind the counter there is a corridor: on the left is the Warehouse with all the goods, divided into several zones, on the right is Jeff’s number

8. In Jeff’s room, or rather in his bedroom, there is also a workshop
