Here’s the general gist of the AU: the Jacobs family and the Kelly family have hated each other since the 19th century. One day when Jack is sulking in typical Jack Kelly fashion, Crutchie and Race convince him to go to the annual Jacob’s masquerade ball. There, he meet an angel. It’s love at first sight. What follows is weeks of climbing in and out of windows, sneaking around parents, and falling deeper and deeper. Problem is, Davey is soon to be married to a boy named Benjamin. An arrangement that was made before he was even born. (Seriously, who has arranged marriages anymore?? it’s the 1990s.) Jack, though, has other plans: Davey can’t get married to Benjamin if he’s already married to Jack.
