Halloween in Minecraft

I get a little excited for Halloween in Minecraft. I don’t know why.

It took a lot of searching and much too much digging, but I found myself a buried treasure chest tonight. I wasn’t standing in the right spot at first so despite all my digging, I wasn’t finding the chest.

I hate it when the chests are underwater, like this one. It slows everything down because I have to keep returning to the surface for fresh air.

I got some good loot in the chest, especially a nice Heart of the Sea. I’m trying to make some conduits and you need these to craft them.

A peaceful lagoon in Minecraft, and an excellent place to start a new game. If you look carefully, you can spot me chopping some trees just after spawning in this new survival mode world.

Here’s me doing my thing: chopping and digging. I started to dig a staircase down here, but abandoned that in favor of a cave I found next to the lagoon.

Before long, I came across a nice shipwreck that had two chests in it. One of them had a buried treasure map inside. The X on the map conveniently sent me right back to my lagoon to dig up the treasure chest buried under the sand!
