Hi, I know I've pretty much abandoned this place, but I could really use some money to put towards a new PC as my current one is dying and my only source of income is my art, which I need my PC for.

I've never posted my non-3D works on this page, but I own an Etsy shop where I sell keychains and charms. If you're interested in cute things, I would really really appreciate the support!

While my lighting isn't the best I still enjoy creating high-detail versions of objects from the game. Here's an ika plush I made a while back and never posted.

Alright, considering the amount of people who were interested in an art raffle, here it is.

I've never run one of these before so I apologize if this is confusing, or not the correct way of running these (I just joined Tumblr, I don't have anything to reference xD)

I will be offering fully rendered pieces to 3 randomly selected winners. (This is Splatoon only, so if you found this post randomly, uhhh....)

All you have to do to be entered is reblog this post with an image of your Splatoon character/OC (art or in-game screenshots are fine) and follow me here on Tumblr. I will be tossing three names into a (virtual) hat on October 18th (in 3 weeks as of writing this) to determine winners.

First drawn winner will recieve a full body render with a background and/or weapon.

Second drawn winner will recieve a full body render with a transparent background.

Third drawn winner will recieve a headshot/icon.

(Examples will be on my page due to me not wanting to clog this post with images)

If possible, please include a full body reference of your character along with either a bio or a short description of their personality or interests. This will make it easier for me to come up with a pose/expression/theme/etc. Otherwise I will come up with it on my own based off first impressions.

Unfortunately due to how long renders can take and me not wanting to have people waiting for too long, I cannot offer fully custom clothing or hairstyles this time.

However I can still offer recolors of existing gear, small texture edits such as graphics on t-shirts or pins/buttons, hair using pieces of existing hairstyles (e.g. the ponytail from the topknot hairstyle being added to the bowl cut hairstyle), and skin details such as freckles or scars.

(Pretty much anything that doesn't require sculpting and texturing an entire model from scratch.)

Introducing, the Dual Snippers

"A new entry into the splatana class, sold by Foil. The Dual Snippers - despite it's name - aren't dualies, but they function similarly to dualies such as the Dualie Squelchers in that they can join together for an alternate attack. Each blade can only be swung one at at time, alternating the angle of the horizontal slash. But they can be snapped together during it's charge attack in order to create a wide V-shaped slash."

This is my first time ever designing and modeling a Splatoon weapon from scratch. I've had this idea floating around in my mind for months, and while other scissor weapons have probably already been made before (I haven't seen them, so I apologize if this is unintentionally copying someone's design) I wanted to try my hand at modeling it. I didn't sketch anything beforehand I just went for it.

I'm planning to learn how to animate in Blender so I can create a weapon demonstration video which shows them in action, but I'm not sure if it'll be soon because I've never animated before. I am planning to create more renders of these in use though, as well as an alternate skin and stats to go along with them. Does anyone have any kit ideas? I've been brainstorming them for a while, but it's hard to visualize the playstyle of a weapon that doesn't exist.

i don't have a commissions sheet yet, and i havent ever taken commissions before, but i do want to open them in the future because people have asked. so i feel like doing a raffle might get me used to working for others.

IT'S TIME FOR THE GRAND FESTIVAL

ft characters from the manga (i came up with reasons why everyone was on each team, you can read them below the cut) this took me longer than needed (about a week) i had to redo the background 6 times because i wasnt happy with any of it. i finished this up an HOUR before the grand fest, so i hope you all enjoy it, and the fest!

My reasons for each character on their team: ARMY - has (had) a battle manual based off past experiences. has a hard time adapting to changes, and predicting things that have yet to happen. MASK - most likely dwells on the past and can't move on from it. hates those who are happy with their current lives. he tends to hold grudges and doesn't trust easily. GOGGLES - goggles doesn't worry about what has yet to come, nor does he dwell on things that have already passed. he's all about living in the present and enjoying life. ALOHA - similarly to goggles, he enjoys living in the present. as a fan of extreme sports and partying, he definitely lives his life with a "you only live once" additude. SKULL - the complete opposite of a sore loser. instead of dwelling on his losses in battle, he takes note of his opponents for future battle, and he trains hard to become even better than he was yesterday. RIDER - after meeting blue team, rider's entire additude towards battles changed. he sticks with blue team because he realizes they have the ability to be something great. his life philosophy is to "keep believing in yourself".

INTEREST CHECK

i have been cooking up these golden egg "snow" globes for about a year now. they consist of two 3d printed parts (the fish and the float) and a plastic globe filled with glitter. the eggs can be removed from the float to be shaken up.

the one thing keeping me from putting these in my shop is... i've never sold anything like this before. i don't know a good price for them... while 3d printer filament is cheap, they take about a total of 6 hours to print both the float and the fish. as well as multiple hours of sanding, and waiting for paint/glue to dry. it takes me a few weeks to make just one.

i plan on offering different float colors in the future and maybe a little flag on the side, like the liferings in-game. but as for now, the only options i'd offer are net or no net.

to those who are interested, what price would you buy these for? (in $USD)
