The mummified body of Buddhist monk Phra Khru Samathakittikhun (or Loung Por Daeng) remains on display in Thailand in Wat Kunaram on Koh Samui island per his request, some thirty years after his death. He hoped his body, still in the meditation position he died in, would inspire future generations to follow Buddhist teachings and be saved from suffering.

He made this request two months before he died, announcing to his students that he felt his death was imminent. He spent his last seven days without food or water, and spoke to no one, focusing solely on his meditation.

When his eyes dried up and fell back into his head, his fellow monks gave him a nice pair of Ray-Bans to cover the ghastly, gaping sockets. (via)

It's that time again. Finals are going to wreck me.

I was told I needed an axe but all I could find were kittens. My roommate said kittens work, too. So now I am going to be a lumberjack with kittens.

So, upon taking a break from rasslin' shows for a while - I've grown my beard out more, cut my hair, and started my journey to being a sexy lumberjack.

So, I got a wild hair and got my hair cut in a different style for the first time in almost 10 years. Last night my roommate told me I could be “a sexy lumberjack dude” so today I accepted his challenge and got a new shirt so I could be a sexy lumberjack. Also, this shirt is going to feel so nice up in the cold mountains when we go hiking up there again.
