Hey everyone! Sadly, this challenge I dropped the ball.. big time.. I don't know what it is but I have gotten into a funk and have had a hard time. I have also splurged on different foods. But I am starting to pull myself out of it this week!! Enough is enough! I have worked too hard to let all my hard work go to waste!! I know I have had a gain. I checked last week and so I don't even dare step on the scale today. Plan is to get back on nutrition and slowly work back into my workouts. I knew starting this journey would ever be easy. As they say, "if it were easy everyone would be doing it". I found this picture (not of great quality, but it is something!) on my fianc茅's phone back when I first started 21 Day Fix. I was only a week into the program. I may not have a loss this challenge but I still feel freaking FABULOUS when I went to the fair on Saturday with my family! I decided to share what I wrote in my 21 Day Challenge group. This is real life. This is my daily struggle. I knew it wouldn't be easy. Even as a coach, knowing what I need to do, sometimes life really does happen and we have to just press on and keep working towards that goal. I have goals to reach by certain times. But it's just that, a goal. There is no time limit on this journey. I most certainly did not gain all this weight overnight, so I know it will not come off overnight. "All good things come to those who wait." I'm not waiting of course, because this is something that I must do and work hard on everyday. If there is one bad day, I just start over the next day. Ok, confession time!! I'm not sure what ya'll are doing as far as weekly weights or waiting until the end of the challenge. For me, I always weigh myself weekly. I have to say I am disappointed but if anything this makes me even more motivated. Day 1, I was at 234. I was upset then because before the challenge I had a cheat meal and my refresh results from 235 to 230.6 was washed away. 馃槙 I was like "no problem I can lose it again." Week one I had a bunch of energy. I was motivated, doing 2 workouts a day at least, one fix and one cize or one fix and 10 minute abs and nutrition on point. However, that week I only lost 1.4. I was like, really? Though, I could have gained muscle so I pressed on. Last week was ROUGH. I struggled with my energy. I was tired and taking naps which only made me feel worse. I managed to push play and get through my workouts but it wasn't easy. Nutrition was on point through the week until I hit Friday. It wasn't planned, but all day Friday I was out of the house. I ran out for an appointment without a shakeology thinking I could have it later. Well, it became busy with Girl Scout stuff and then at a friends house until 10pm. I did well for breakfast and lunch while out, but came dinner time I had two slices of pizza. 馃槙 I've had a couple more splurges over the weekend. I wouldn't say I have done terrible because I could have done WAY worse! But of course, it isn't at all fixed approved. As we say, "life happens." I knew today my weight was either the same or back up. Sadly, I am back at 234 just like day 1 of this challenge. I'm like "well, there goes two weeks and no loss." I could just say "forget it" and give up. But that's not what I'm going to do. I wanted to lose at least 8 lbs this challenge and I don't see that happening now. My goal is to reach the 220's. It would be great to lose 5 lbs to reach 229. Even if I don't, the closest I can reach will be great! So here's my plan: Monday's are a great day for starting over. I'm going to be doing No CHEATS, less salt, following doubles week 3 of the fix plan and eating small meals throughout the day. I'm going to try my best to not eat after 6pm. Drinking my water, (my body weight divided by 2) which is about 15 cups of water. And no carbs after 3pm! I haven't ever been this strict about my nutrition but I figure it is worth a try. My energy level seems to be back up so I believe I am ready to kick some a$$ in these workouts and really step up my game! Who's ready to give this last week all they have?!?! 馃憡馃徎

Recently I have been looking into a lot of body positive information. As I am on this journey, I am learning to love my body at every stage, every size. My body does have its flaws, but rather than focusing on the negative, I am focusing on the positives. 馃挏 I'm no longer depressed like I was 7 months ago. 馃挌 I have more energy and more drive to get up and do things for myself and my family. 馃挍 Exercise has become a regular routine thing and my body is loving it and the way it makes me feel! 鉂わ笍 Eating clean foods allows me to feel healthy and good. When I have eaten foods not as healthy I end up feeling sluggish. It goes to show how important it is to fuel the body with healthy nutrition. 馃挆 I am gaining my confidence back. I am happier and feeling sexier. I don't aspire to be thin. I want to be healthy and fit. This is something I find I need to do for myself. I am on the path to making changes for the things that I do not like but there are a lot of things I do like about myself. I love how my shape is getting curvier, I love how my legs are getting more muscle and stronger, I can see more definition in my butt, my waistline is shrinking, I am able to do certain exercises that I couldn't when I started. And then especially those things that you can't see. I went from super depressed to having more energy. I used to be sedentary and lazy to now getting up each day and making the effort to reach my goals. I have a goal to reach 160. Ultimately my goal is to be fit. To feel healthier, to be more comfortable in my body, to have a better self confidence and feel sexier. And already with 30+ lbs off some of these things are already improving! I have my flaws but they make me who I am.
