The final post: I still hate Eric and Marcus.
Hello! This is the final post for my assignment for it was quite short. A warning spoilers and sensitive themes death ect.
Near the and end and in the end I had some pretty strong opinions on some of the clichés located in Divergent. One of these would be Tris's parents diying to make her stronger and make her love for Four or Tobias stronger so that she could eventually free him from his trance. Near the books end around the climax Tris had to face Tobias as a controled version of himself due to something the Erudite had invented to control divergent. By strengthening her bond to him by killing her parents and putting Calebs life in danger, as this cliché seen alot in action and romance books, the cliché was proven right and it freed him. I have some problems with this, because you can see it from a mile away, its a classic cliché and it was even seen in the Hunger Games by Suzan Cullians (I dont know whether or not its spelt correctly) and a story called "Blood Ink" By Lupicut. Its an obvious but captivating cliché that seems to be seen in books like this often, and I dont mind it as long as its not an event after the other in a chapter without spacing or pace.

Second assignment Post: Four is hot.
Hello again so soon!
Its me again with part two of three posts on my opinion on divergent the book. Again spoilers ahead!
On the more leaning middle of the book a part I have a strong opinion on would be Al's suicide and Tris and Four almost getting it on if you know what I mean. During this part as we all read someone was stabbed in the eye and some initiates attempted to kill and or rape Tris. Al, a good friend of Tris's, was among the few that attempted this. When Tris didnt forgive Al, he took it harshly and hung himself over the chasm. I can relate to this heavily, due to the factor of making mistakes on things that threaten you and having people you care about disregarding you. It is a low feeling and it sucks and its not a good feeling in the slightest, I can understand his intention of taking his own life. I can also understand how the dauntless leader Eric called him brave despite his previous act of cowardice. Depending on how you feel and your will to live sometimes it can be an act of bravery to escape but depending on what it is it can be cowardice, I just dont know why Eric fully embraced it as bravery. Next is Tris and Four nearly haveing fancy time and Tris having a braced fear in her landscape for it. From what I hear its not easy to embrace touch that is foriegn to you, infact it is hard to certain people especially in more dire suituations, but to authors the more dire the suituation is the more willing the subject is to embrace it.
That concludes my second post on this assignment.

First post for a creative writing assignment.
Hello!
My name's Acy and for the next little while I will be posting small posts about the book divergent for an assignment and also to keep track of the events.
This first post is centered around the begining of the book, and my opinion on the first bits of the book. Warning spoilers ahead in these posts! So in terms of my opinion on the first bit of the book, I have to say Tris or Beatrice appears more or less like a differenting heroine from the start and doesnt appear to normal. This is apparent from the fact of her always making points of not being able to relate to her family. A connection I have to this would be how I was never able to really fit with my family on the terms of what we would do and who we are. Just as Beatrice usually fails to relate to her family theres also a key aspect to this a more hidden one her longing to fit with others. Much like alot of people have she has it too, just as ive mentioned above she never seems to fit with her family and she sees it. Another thing is during training with Four in the dauntless compound, how he helps her and the way she feels about his hands around her waist. I feel strongly about this because its sort of cliché, he touches her, she reacts and so on so forth. I made a prediction so early on about them being together due to this old manga cliché from the early 2000's.
I hope you all have enjoyed my practically nonexistant opinion and views on the main begining of divergent see you really soon.
