Hey, this is the second time I've seen a blog claiming to be based in the Hatchetfield area that won't load for me. Half the text is just not showing up. There are big square holes in the posts that are roughly in the places text would go, but I can't click on them or highlight them or anything. I don't get it.

This game sucked. When I played it as a kid, it sucked, and even now, I still remember how much it sucked because it had permadeath.

You had to do the point and click section perfectly so as to not escape the room. Yeah. I said not escape the room. You had to barricade yourself inside, and if you made one mistake you had to reload the page and start over.

Think I remember wailing noises during that segment.

Finally I get confirmation that this isn't a hoax! Should probably follow up on the posts; I've found a bit more media since I put up the original picture. Think the game was based on the TV show going around at the time, or at least that's what I remember. Never actually watched the show myself.

Hey! Found out pretty recently that this site's lost media community knows about Adventures in Drowsytown. I found this picture on 4chan of all places. Quality's ass and there's a weird margin on it but I actually remember playing this game as a kid.

The graphics were eye-bleedingly bright. It was like whoever designed this thing didn't know anything more than "use complementary colours". Never beat this one when I was younger; it was simple as fuck. You just hit the number keys when the notes went over the indicators. Music was pretty good, though. Sounded like it came out of an old NES game.

Anyone else remember this or was I the only one who played it?
