I don't think people understand what it does to your mental state to have been mocked by literally thousands of people around the world and targeted by mass harassment campaigns. Like, I'm sorry if I come off a bit argumentative but one time I woke up to thousands of messages of people mocking my body and telling me to kill myself, thousands of dms saying the same, the majority of my online friends ghosting me, and being reviled through the internet at large, all cuz some teenager told a lie about me. My old apartment address is on a neo Nazi forum ffs.

Idk man but if you think I'm quick to anger or argue or mock, maybe we have to peel back the trauma that complete strangers have inflicted upon me, and maybe your snappy one liner on my post just wasn't funny enough to warrant its existence.

I have a broken tooth and separately an abcessed tooth. Both of the teeth need to go. Surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, and I have to pay up front. I do not qualify for care credit. The surgery is with an oral surgeon because I have complications that require that. It's going to be 2k in total, not including food for during recovery.

If specifics help, I'm trans, I'm disabled and at a higher risk of dying from infection, and I am the primary caretaker of two disabled loved ones, one of whom has cancer. I am in a lot of pain from this, and I cannot chew. I have eaten nothing solid since the tooth broke several days ago.

I really hate the "dude" conversation cuz like it's literally such a nothingburger in and of itself but it is a great example of the ways that people--even many tme lgbt ppl--are willing to treat trans women at the drop of a hat, but then any time it gets used as an example, it's the only thing TME ppl wanna address cuz, well, the nature of micro aggressions is that they're often plausibly deniable, so then they go and say "NUH UH" and we write three paragraphs explaining "YEAH UH" and then the whole fucking thing gets derailed into this stupid bullshit that just ends up with us being the butt of the joke anyway, like the bro/dude/man shit is to the '20s as "did you just assume my gender" shit was to the '10s
