We all know Steve’s bullshit ending during endgame. I could rant about that for hours.

My theory is, when he went to return the infinity stones, he kept switching too much, and before going to his last stop, Vorimir, he fell into a wormhole, created by him!

We all know he wouldn’t ditch his friends like that. He would go and try and save Natasha and come back, and not ruin Peggy’s life ofc.

But this wormhole intercepted him, causing him to fall into an alternative universe. In this universe, he already exists, he’s married to Peggy in this one: thus the scene we see of him dancing with Peggy.

The view we see of him dancing with Peggy is 616 Steve looking into this house.

What is happening in this wormhole pocket universe? Idk? Could it be a normal human au? Speculation. But one thing is, Steve has the Soul Stone.
