Day One

-thursdays are my one off days so i spent the day catching up on some much needed rest.

- started reviewing the previous weeks work late and realised i need to retouch some notes

Histology is kicking my butt…Honestly, it is that one lesson that doesn’t interest me at all.

ok so I was going to write a different caption for this but I honestly have no idea wtf I’m doing right now lol. so far this quarter has been the busiest I’ve ever had- I’m taking 19 credits (the highest I’ve ever taken), started working at my first internship, doing work with some community activist organizations, planning what my life is going to look like over the next year, not to mention… surviving during an election year in a global pandemic). needless to say, I am very tired. it’s all just a lot and last week I finally burnt out. 

tbh it feels wrong to complain about everything I’m doing because it’s all stuff that I genuinely love (other than analyzing founding father speeches for my communication of public address class) but I guess I really just have to keep reminding myself that work is work, and productivity isn’t admirable if you never take a break. you don’t have to earn the right to rest- what’s important is that you prioritize it. my life will work itself out one way or another. everything is going to be okay. sending you lots of love xxx

It’s pouring outside and I don’t have to go out today, so I’m going to be home all day in comfy clothes, listening to the rain. 🌧
