I'm glad that people agree that El wants Mike to love her because she's seen how strongly he feels about Will and she wants someone to feel like that about her

It really solidifies my personal characterization of El as someone who'd see how Dustin treats his girlfriend and want that kind of love for herself

I love that Dustin's type is "girls he thinks are awesome". Max could skateboard and play videogames. Suzie is incredibly smart and is a good singer, too.

Now you come here and tell me that henderhop is not endgame? After El took down a whole helicopter mid-air? After she destroyed a whole government secret facility on her own? After Dustin (I assume) finds out that she just clocked a bully in the face even without powers?

Please. They will get together at some point, I know it in my heart of hearts

Just here thinking about how, if Dustin was in love with El and kissed her first, she'd probably inevitably compare the kiss with how Mike used to kiss her, and realize that kissing feels much better when you're not the only one wanting it to happen

The Duffers don't put El and Dustin in the same plotlines because they know those two characters have no reason to not fall for each other, they had to bring Suzie as reinforcement otherwise it would be inevitable
