Description: This is a scene mockup for the Cresent Height area. I used a pixel art for this implementation as they are modular and can be iterated quickly. I created 7 scene props to construct this scene: The player, the lamp, the moon, the mountains, the pillars, the ground, and the background. I also used some gradient that overlays on my sprite to create a sense of lighting. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the current result and I'm really liking the visual design choice of adding some lines for the moon to create a sense of depth.

Description: For this block out, I decided to go with two different narrative scenarios. One is the robot is about to die, the other is the robot is about to be alive. I want to add more personalities to my design, so I chooses these two important moments for the robot's lifespan. After comparison, I decided to go with the first one as it has more potential and it is more visually interesting.

Character Part3, Key Art
Name: Realization
Medium: Adobe Photoshop
Description: Having the feedback that the robot could perhaps have more personalities, I decided to create a key art for this cinematic moment where the robot realizes that it has intelligence and it has an other things to do other than doing maintenance every day. However, at the time he realizes, it's already too late, as the crimson crystals pierce through his body, it is both a salvation and a revenge from the nature.
From a design view, I fully utilized the various environmental design I already created in my previous works, and this key art is an expansion of my world's setting. I'm very satisfied with the current state of the drawing as it showcases my idea clear and vividly.

Description: These are some of the possessions for the CH-HeavyDuty Bot. While most of the possessions are helping the bot to accomplish day-to-day tasks more efficiently, they started to develop their own personalities and interests' overtime, such as playing chess with each other. Their main energy source, the crimson crystals are giving them the possibility to independently think. Which can go both ways if they develop too far in their own consciousness.

Name: CH-HeavyDuty Bot
This is the robots that are designed by the group named "big scholar's workshop" under my world building concept. The design of this robot is to assist in various day-to-day maintenances tasks such as making sure the light on the street is running correctly and also do some heavy lifting works that human cannot normally do. The modular design of this robot made it ready to handle multiple tasks and they have become a dominant labor force especially in the pier area in the Cresent Heights.
The overall palate and color choice is rehearing to the previous environmental assets (The Street Lamp) I designed under the same group. Their products are often distinguished by their keen edges and bright lights, which I'm following the design trend.

Name: Collapsed City of Crescent Heights
Description: This is a near sea city named red crystal city as the main mineral that is produced by this city are red crystals. As the citizens of this city greedily mine the red crystals below their foot, something fearful happens as the nature fights back. Crystals that are crimson red spikes through the ground, penetrating everything through its way and destroyed the red crystal city. As every citizen escaped from the city, this bloody, yet unholy artwork by the nature remains. For the spikes, I consider drawing inspirations from the spike that forms on liquid magnets, to form a other-worldly feeling when expressing this scene, and the buildings are relatively medieval, creating a juxtaposition between modern technology and the way beings live in the city.

For this assignment, I aim to explore my interest in celestial-themed 2D illustrations. I have structured the modular sets into three components: Center, Border, and Decoration. The Center focuses on depictions of the sun, moon, and stars, serving as the primary focal points of the composition. The Border and Decoration each have three variations, functioning as complementary elements that enhance the visual richness of the piece. While these decorative components contribute to the overall aesthetic, they do not carry significant symbolic meaning, allowing the celestial bodies to remain the central focus.

Description: I used various sharp shapes I created with illustrator and implemented them in a disturbing way to emulate the feeling of a needle penetrating your body. The center particle is emulating the needle itself. The twisting circles around is emulating muscles. The exploding sharp shapes is emulating the pain.

Name: Aquatic magic potion

Notes: I'm heavily inspired by the shape of whisky bottles and decided to emulate similar shapes in my design. The challenge for me in this assignment was to draw transparent materials, which I think I'm not very good at. However, I really like the current design, and I'm satisfied with the current presentation of the blue liquid inside.
