When Skizz was teleported to this world, he was wearing a business suit. Very quickly the sleeves were near-perfectly torn off in a wacky incident, but since then it hasn't seen a scratch... must have picked up some protective magic, somehow. Perhaps someone with an affinity for clothing noticed the accident with the sleeves, and took pity on him for only having the one outfit? (He is not upset about losing the sleeves, and having magically strong clothes is great too!)

Impulse already had doubts about the grand forces of darkness before Skizz's arrival, but seeing the man so hopelessly out of his depth pushed him to do what he could to help. He doesn't want Skizz to become lost like the last hero did

And of course, as if it were meant to be, they quickly find themselves becoming friends

[Skizzekai au] Keralis is part unicorn, ethereal and majestic, with a curved horn and wispy tail to match. He is also, in the words of one xB, "a menace"

So. none of the hermits look like anyone skizz knows personally in the normal world, but... ok so the workshop where skizz was getting his bike fixed has a uniform with a grey vest over a red jumper, and their newest intern had blond spiky hair. And when Skizz went to grab his morning coffee the other day, there was a guy at one of the tables in a full lab coat with curly blond hair. And there was also that guy in kakashi cosplay on the bus a month or so ago. And Skizz... doesn't relly remember these strangers he met in passing? which is probably a good thing because if he made the connection that would raise a lot of questions. But yeah. its a thing.

Because Cleo's kingdom houses many undead creatures that prefer darker environments, half of the kingdom is underground, though it doesn't go down very deep

They say its so the journey from the underground to the above isn't long, but go a little deeper and maybe the lichen that covers the cave walls turns an unnatural shade of blue

Skizz is having a bit of a tough time adjusting to this new world. Mostly because he knew a lot of these people before he was thrown here. Tango was his best friend, back in his world, and yet he introduced himself when they met here. Skizz doesn’t know how to handle that.

So I'm thinking Skizz's necklace is designed to be a sort of Magical Concentrator, that mages can use as a sort of battery. When attuned to the user, it slowly charges up on ambient energy, and when it's full it emanates a low pulse to bleed off excess energy, resulting in a boost for the mage in question until the necklace's reserves drop back down enough for it to start charging again. Unfortunately. It is currently on a human.

This is where the wings come in.

two points to think about. 1) etho and bdubs have been established as being forest or jungle if you will spirts/atomata

2) doc and beef havent been brought up yet i suggest; nho as gardians of the jungle.

tango's an odd ball; always has been always will be. in addition to the fire magic he's always had; and the subsequent prehensile tail made of fire that spawned from it; he is in posession of a magic deck of cards; each one that does something diffrent. he gave the luck card to zedaph

Joel is known for being a little mental, but if you can look past the insanity his petty kingdom is one of the better places to live. Don’t pay attention to how erosion has sped up ever since the divorce. Just don’t.

Joe still introduces themself as Joe Hills from Nashville, Tennessee, even though he hasn't lived there in a long time. This obviously gives Skizz pauses when they first meet.

When his wings grow in, they are dragonfly wings. Very pretty ones, but they won't hold his weight for a while.

Skizz eventually grows wings. They start out way to small for him to fly with, but as he travels farther, and is exposed to more of the world's magic, they grow and change.

Mumbo wasn't really lying, he isn't a vampire or royalty. He was the god of the night, and all its creatures, until a man meddling with powers he didn't fully understand managed to steal half his power and accidentally made the first vampires. Mumb still holds it against Grian to this day.
