Long ago, the Celestial Canopy mysteriously ceased its contact with the Clans. Revered species went extinct. Meteor storms peppered the territories. An unknown loner wandered into the territories, imparting knowledge onto the Clans: that of working with ores, metals, and leathers. From her knowledge came mining, masonry, glassworking, tools, weaponry, prosthetics – a whole new era had begun.  A once religious Clan turned their back on their ancestors. The other clung to their faith, almost desperately. These Clans now stand at a crossroads of a longstanding peace, backdropped by cycles upon cycles of paranoia and stockpiling metal weaponry. An unknown plague, thought gone, threatens to rip through their territories once again, only serving to raise tensions further.

Forged Hope is a new 16+ discord-based Warrior Cats roleplay with light fantasy and strong horror elements. It takes inspiration from both Warrior Cats and Guardians of Ga’Hoole to create a unique spin on the typical Clan formula! All trigger warnings can be found on our website. 

Join one of two Clans – the Ridge Fangs and the Ivory Talons – as the fragile peace between them begins to crumble. Two hundred years ago, these Clans learned how to work with metals, and thus gave rise to a new rank: Forgers. As their technology advanced, the Clans developed elaborate spying operations to steal newly invented weapons from one another. Will you join the Ridge Fangs, who live underground and have abandoned their past religious ways? Or will you join the Ivory Talons, who live in the trees and stay faithful? 

Our applications will be open from December 15th to January 5th! Apply for warrior, forger, or some high roles – oracle apprentice, deputy, and a new council member role!

a lot of you probably knows Belphie's story, but I'll summarize just in case.

Devon Rex cats are better for people with allergies (less shed fur + less Fel d1 protein in their saliva), so on February 16, 2024, I went the breeder route and put down a deposit. before Belphie even opened his eyes, he was mine.

every Friday, the breeder sent me a new photo. I had a broken leg, and was basically rotting in bed at that point, so it was the best part of my week. then, at 12 weeks old, I BROUGHT HIM HOME!

at first, he was so alive. like a wind-up monkey that never shut off. he dangled from the wall-hangings, savaged my feet as I walked, and used my elderly cats as jumping poles to do cool acrobatics over. but all this gradually faded.

first, he stopped playing. then he stopped climbing. then he stopped moving much at all. my vet ran tests on him and found multiple pathogens (calcivrius + mycoplasma), but the medication didn't help - he kept declining.

on September 17th, I woke up to find him swollen like a balloon. we finally had an answer: he had Feline infectious Peritonitis, aka FIP. before 2017, this would've been a death sentence. he would've kept bloating until he drowned in his own fluids. and before 2024, I would've been forced to inject him with black market drugs. but thankfully, South Tower Animal Hospital in Fergus, Ontario was doing a study on the oral medication! we drove two hours, enrolled him, and left with the GS-441524 pills.

and he went from those photos above.....to this:

I thought Belphie would die as a kitten. I'd accepted that he would never grow up. but now he gets to LIVE!

and all for the low cost of $7,553.....ahhhahaha........god.

that + a recent home disaster has wiped out my savings, but I still need to pay for Belphie's medication. to remain in this study, I need to do bloodwork monthly until Feb 2025, and he'll need daily pills until March 2025.

A friend of mine is facing homelessness and is looking for support. The good news is that they have a new apartment lined up, but the bad news is if he can't get the funds for the deposit by the end of the month he loses the place and be homeless, as his current rental agreement ends last day of february. He is a black, trans sex worker living in an unsafe environment, and his friend who will be moving in with him is currently in a hostile home with their parents. They are both looking for any support that they can get.

They have a GoFundMe page, and on twitter there is a thread of several artists who are all offering art in exchange for proof of donations. (his account is NSFW but the thread is not.) He also is selling OCs and designs over on toyhouse. here is his roommate's post about it as well.

Any help is appreciated, if you can't donate please reblog and spread the word. he's a great friend and i hate to see him struggling like this.
